If you're road tripping and need a charge, EddieWorld is the stop to make. They have 3 EV chargers plus Tesla specific chargers and it's a fast charger so we were in and out in about 45 minutes. Plenty of time to wander around inside and that is half the fun. This place is a road trip lover's dream. Beef jerky, Slurpees, sodas, licorice, chocolate covered peanut brittle, every candy and snack you could want. The bags run between $7 and $18 which is on the pricier side but it's a destination stop, not a corner store. We grabbed licorice and the chocolate covered peanut brittle for the drive and I brought home watermelon bites and pineapple rings for the family. There is also a food court style area in the back and I got chicken tenders that they claim are never frozen. I believe it. The chicken tasted genuinely fresh and came with fries and a sweet biscuit that was a nice little surprise. Beyond the food, it is honestly just a fun place to browse. Toys, stuffed animals, t-shirts, magnets. Borderline a kids wonderland. We ended up spending more time inside than expected and did not mind one bit. Highly recommend as a road trip stop. read more

EddieWorld is a must pit-stop on your way to and from Las Vegas, NV. It's located in the City of Yermo and still within California line. I was on my way to LV and stopped here to see what the hype was all about. Location is quite convenient as it's right off the 15 Fwy. They have 26 gas pumps. I was impressed and amazed by the massive variety of candy, nuts, chocolates, dried fruits, sugar-free candy, international candy, and more. It was WOW for me! Quality was good, too. Besides great snacks, they have an abundance of cool and soft plushies, too. Another big WOW! Will post photos later. There are 3 fast-casual restaurants. You may start your meal with freshly made sandwiches, salads, chicken tenders, burgers, fries, or pizzas and end it with Peet's coffee, popcorn, premium Jedidiah's jerky, or ice cream. So many options! I picked up a couple bags of tasty snacks, indulged in a cup of yummy ice cream, got a soft plushie or two and a few magnets. Can't leave without my magnets! LOL Prices were reasonable. Staff was nice and helpful. Restrooms were very clean and well maintained. If you've driven past EddieWorld and thought of exiting, think no more, just exit and explore. Apparently California's largest gas station, this is the perfect pit stop for road trips and long drives. Right off the highway, you cannot miss this place - outside is a giant ice cream sundae structure that you can even see from afar. To take quick breaks, my husband and I stopped by here twice during our trip from Los Angeles to Las Vegas and back. Not only were we able to easily charge our vehicle, but we also got to check out the massive store, which has cool retro vibes. Considering the amount of people coming in and out from this place, I was pleasantly surprised at how clean the restroom was. The restrooms seemed decently sized as well, so there weren't any ridiculously long lines. In addition, many come here for food and entertainment. There are a bunch of candies, snacks, and souvenirs for sale, along with food vendors, a small entertainment area, and a dedicated homemade ice cream bar. Biggest gas station in California, you find that there's plenty of people that take a rest stop here before continuing on the road. Inside has plenty of vendors including ice cream, coffee, and a whole selection of candy, snacks, etc. There's also plenty of souvenirs that you can purchase for memories. Restrooms are clean and plentiful in stalls. Love that inside is very spacious and outside is spacious as well. They're not 24/7, so plan accordingly, 6:00 AM - 12:00 AM (Next day). Another draw to EddieWorld is a supercharger station next to the gas station, competitive charging rates at $0.43/kWh and 18 accessible superchargers. A pitstop from So Cal to Las Vegas and is a local attraction. On the way to Las Vegas there are only a few decent possible pitstops and this maybe the best one. This place is like a giant version of a gas station store. There are multiple gas stations so you can get gas, snacks, and use the bathroom at the same stop. The bathroom is huge but the lady's line is always long so do expect a small wait. The only reason I don't have a 5 star is because the items in the gift shop are all sweet candies and pretty much a giant tourist trap. The selections though are extensive. There are about 10 refrigerators just for cold drinks, and rows and rows of different types of gummies. Their beef jerky section is huge too. Stopped at EddieWorld during our road trip home to Vegas from Disneyland. If I could describe this place in five words...how is this place real?! EddieWorld is located in the middle of nowhere Yermo in California, just outside of Barstow. If you see a big ice cream sundae statue from the freeway, then you've made it. Note that all the rest areas in both directions along the way are closed/under construction, so both EddieWorld and Barstow Station are your only rest stop options at this moment. This is a gigantic convenience store that has basically EVERYTHING that you can think of, including various toys and games for the littles who get bored during road trips. My LTP and I bought one energy drink each. Even though I no longer drink these on a regular basis and I already had a coffee earlier that morning, it was my turn to drive upon leaving EddieWorld and the drive home would be another two hours, so I ended up buying one just to stay alert. We decided to do a little exploring around just to move around after sitting in the car for a long period of time. We also considered getting food from one of their stands, but just stuck with the drinks instead. Their restrooms are super clean and their stall doors don't have any of those inch long gaps that nobody likes, which was a major plus. This was one of the best rest stop restrooms I've ever seen while on a road trip to and from California. It was worth stopping here to take a break from driving and to see what they had in store. Driven past this stop many times and finally was ready to buy into the hype. It did not live up to my expectations, but I would still label as a great pit stop on the way to/from Vegas. The bathrooms are very clean, which may be one of the biggest draws. The food/drink options felt lacking though. I've seen more options for drinks at our local 7/11. Most of the aisles are devoted to bulk candy instead of anything lasting snacks or real food. They do make some fresh food options, with decent seating. There is a giant milk shake outside, with Eddie sticking out of the top. Photo opp for many people. Inside is a massive assortment of drinks, snacks, souvenirs, some restaurants, ice cream, and a piece of the wood floor from the Forum where the Lakers played (along with some other sports memorabilia). I think I saw a sign that said the ice cream is made fresh. There was a pizza place, and I think I saw burgers too. The souvenirs include a wide assortment of games, puzzles, stuffed animals. My last visit had me buying grapefruit, gummy bears, chocolate covered, honeycomb, and browsing through their Japanese candy section. Even though I've been here multiple times I still have never been able to sample some of the actual food sold here. That counter is always closed.
