The bar area is quite small but there is an extra area/floor above the bar to the left so one could argue that they have a 35th floor as well. The selection of drinks are unfortunately not as impressive as the view. Just a couple of beers on tap and the usual drink selection. And then there's the employees. They seem to bored and uninspired and this actually affects the atmosphere. This place should be filled with happy, cheerful customers but that is not the case. The hotel is more or less booked solid everytime I'm there so filling this place should be like shooting fish in a barrel. And they close a bit early too. Closing time is 1:00 am on weekdays and they start flashing the lights at 00:30. Last visit we bought a beer at 00:25 and was more or less asked to down it 00:45. Please let your customers enjoy their drink undisturbed until you close.

Well worth my one week stay…read more The hotel is basically brand new (opened in January 2016) with a modern touch, unique from all the other major hotel chains we all know. The theme of the hotel is all to do with winery and has a great collection of wine. They have their own branded wine that they make in-house. The hotel also has a beautiful lobby and bar area on the first floor. The rooms are beautifully laid, comfortable, and quiet, however, they are a little small. The staff is friendly and helpful. They have one of the good breakfast meals and are located in close proximity to the Mall of Scandinavia. You can also access the bus close by, but to get to the train, you'll have to get a taxi. You can also rent the bicycles they have to get around. The Winery Kitchen Restaurant on the first floor has a nice menu for dinner and you need to check it out when you stay here. They also have a pizza restaurant across from the check-in desk which really has awesome food and drinks. Of course, don't forget to sign up for the winery tour! They have a winery just behind the front desk and you can see the oak barrels used to store wine. You can always request to have the tour conducted in English. Overall, wife and I enjoyed our week's stay here.

The atmosphere is nice and they have a huge and unique selection of beers. The prices aren't terrible either. Even though it gets crowded sometimes, it's nice to have a little gem in an otherwise lacking area (looking at you, Brommaplan). I've only had the burgers here, but it was a great burger! I didn't feel the need to return over and over again like other burger joints, but it was pretty decent. They had the option for pizza fries which were probably invented by Zeus himself, so that earned them some points as well. Definitely worth a visit if you're in or around the area!

I also didn't get a picture of my plate because it was messy. Someone I was with got a pulled pork burger and the patty looked like it was made hours ago and just sat in the heat. I have been quite happy with the burgers served there. Made with a substantial patty of good quality beef, cooked nicely, and too much other stuff (though not bad stuff) piled on. The fries are the same frozen ones that seem ubiquitous in Stockhom. Better quality, thin crispy fries would boost up the experience a notch. This problem is general, not Dick Turpin's alone. I don't get it. Maybe it's a lack of availability of the right type of potatoes- large "baking" potatoes- the ones with the drier crumbly texture. The fish and chips is also good, although it has been a little greasy on one or two occasions. Two large fillets of Cod fried in classic English batter, usually done just about right- crisp golden batter coating on the outside, perfectly cooked fish on the inside. Overall, a nice neighbourhood English style pub with good food and beer and friendly service at fair prices. A ten minute walk from home, so very convenient. I feel fortunate that it's around. PS- Dick Turpin was a notorious Highwayman with an interesting life story.
