First time coming here and it was hands down one of the best coffee shop experiences! From the moment I walked in, Ashley greeted me with the biggest smile at the register while Bri was crafting drinks behind the bar. Ashley helped me decide between the "Brulee & Beloved" and the "Holy Horchata," and I ended up going with the Brulee & Beloved -- absolutely delicious! By the time I got there around 1 PM, the pastries were sold out, but I did try the Chicken Pesto and it was really good. The whole coffee shop had such a cute, chic vibe. Eden & Clay definitely makes a strong first impression. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with a warm, welcoming vibe which honestly goes a long way for a coffee spot. Let's be real... most of us show up needing caffeine and not exactly in the best mood, so that positive energy matters. I initially tried the Orchata and the Garden Golden, and neither one really hit for me. Just not my personal taste. That said, the service alone made me willing to give them another shot and I'm glad I did. I came back and tried Eve's Cup, and that one's the winner for me. I enjoyed every bit of it and it's what will keep me coming back. If I had one critique, it would be the ambiance. It's not bad, but I do think with a little more investment in the decor and overall feel, this place could really stand out and feel even more inviting. Great spot for hanging out and studying with minimalist vibes. There a several tables available with a few outlets available. They are Christian owned and I love that they have drink names based on the Bible and a nice olive tree at the center, symbolic of peace and blessing in the Bible! I got their Brulee and Beloved which comes with a cream top and a caramelized top! I got the drink with almond milk and half sweet and it was perfect amount of sweetness for me since the cream top was already sweetened. It was definitely on the pricier end with alt milk and after adding tax but definitely very tasty. I also got their pistachio croissant warmed and it was a nice treat since I love pistachio and there was a tasty pistachio cream filling in the middle. Overall a lovely cafe with nice vibes! Eden & Clay has been on my go to list for quite a bit. On a Sunday afternoon, there was plenty of parking in the lot. On the contrary, there wasn't a lot of studying/desk space on the inside. When we walked inside, we were greeted by the coffee baristas. We took some time scanning the menu and their pastries. We ended up deciding on the Garden Gold, while my fiancé got the Brulee & Beloved. We had our croissants warmed up and we took a seat near a sofa to do some work. Our coffees were good, but not quite memorable. I had hints of banana in the Garden Gold drink, but it wasn't strong enough. It wasn't overly sweet, which I appreciated. The coffee was there and I was definitely caffeinated. I just think I should have tried a different drink instead. As I watched other customers come in, they ordered drinks that looked like einspanners or some kind of drink with a cream top. I think I missed out on that, so I'll have to come back to try again. I definitely enjoyed the everything bagel seasoned croissant and their pistachio croissant. Both of them had fillings that complimented their toppings. Warming up your pastries is also a very good idea. The baristas were quite noisy in comparison to the study area. They gave me a fright here and there with their chatter, but nearing a few hours before closing, it was very quiet; ideal for studying and working. It wasn't noisy at all. Coffee spot that doubles as a hangout spot in Upland. Came here on a weekday evening and it wasn't super crowded, but there are a couple groups sitting around hanging out. There is no lying and I was able to order right away. I ended up getting the Holy Horchata latte. I thought it was tasty and it provided me with the pick me up that I wanted. I was just passing through, but it definitely looks like a place where people post up to do work or study. It's a nice space too with seemingly easy to find parking. I've tried this place a couple times now. The servers are really friendly and the decor is modern minimalist. They often have interesting drinks, but I always seem to miss the seasonal menus by a few days. First time I visited, my boyfriend and I brought our chessboard to sip and play -- it was pretty packed on a Sunday and we didn't snag a good table until a bit later. Today, a Saturday late afternoon, the place is surprisingly empty. I brought my laptop and am finding this a really nice place to work. There is wifi (apparently only for 60 min?) and a few outlets available. The music could be a bit quieter but isn't distracting. As for parking, I generally don't have trouble finding a spot in the plaza lot! SERVICE/ENVIRONMENT : the two ladies there when I went were so nice. One was named Ashley I believe. Seems like a Christian community that owns it and works, great hospitality and service. The inside has a very simple and modern feel to it that is t overstimulating. Couple of seats inside and outside but I can see it getting busy during peak hours. Beautiful environment overall and has bathrooms as well. FOOD: great selection of coffee and unique seasonal drinks. They had Valentine's Day drinks and they were delicious. Nearby coffee shop so I wanted to pop in and check it out. It's in a complex with lots of parking. Upon entry, the place gives off a minimalistic vibe. Very cute. Good amount of seating. The folks behind the counter were friendly and nice. We ordered an ube latte and strawberry matcha latte. I think they accidentally made another drink so they offered it to us for free. The drinks were good. The only other thing I want to comment on is it's a slower service. It wasn't super crowded or anything. It just seemed like the drinks were slow to come out. I didn't mind since I didn't have anywhere to be but I'm sure that it would have been tough to wait if I was in a rush. Would like to come back and give more drinks a try. Checked out a new coffee/café spot that just opened near me with a friend today, and it was super cute--very minimalistic vibes. We both ordered the Crème Brûlée Latte, and it was delicious and strong. I originally went in planning to get a matcha (I'm not even a big coffee drinker!), but the latte looked too good to pass up. We were excited to come try Eden and Clay because of the hype. I'll be honest, we had no idea what they offered prior to walking in and checked out the menu in the car a couple minutes ahead of time. What did we see? SPAM! How exciting and different. We love spam (guilty pleasure) What was even better? The description. Spam Tocino - caramelized spam, onions, eggs, cheese...YUM. We walked in and there she was, Spam Tocino, but no description. Same price though, so no worries, must be the same sammie. NOPE. What we got was not even close! It was a panini with lightly cooked spam and cheese. That's it. I looked up what "Tocino" means just to see if I'm being dramatic....sweet, savory, garlicky, caramelized...I see. So just a tad misleading and incredibly disappointing for $11. They could have at least thrown on an egg? We ended up coming home and using the ingredients to make our own version of what it was supposed to be, sadly. With that said, the coffee was good! We ended up spending about $20 for the sandwich and coffee, with a tip. This place is super cute! Another great new faith-based coffee spot in the IE! Simplistic decor with lots of seating options inside and a couple outside. There were plenty of parking spots when I arrived, but some of them are designated for certain businesses in the center. I was greeted and helped promptly upon entering. Everyone was so helpful and friendly! I decided I had to try their Ube matcha with almond milk. I was asked if I wanted anything else and while I gazed at the pastries, which looked amazing, I decided to just go with the drink today. The drink was beautiful and delicious! They have great matcha and the Ube complimented it nicely--it wasn't too sweet or overpowering. I would love to see them add coconut milk as another dairy alternative option. This place is so amazing and the staff is genuinely kind! A great cup of coffee tastes even better when you have happy people making it. I love how aesthetic this place is from the cell phone to the table to the realistic olive tree at the community table. Today I ordered the chaggaccino and it did not disappoint. I just wish they had 12oz cold latte options so the espresso stands out more, but unfortunately most places don't offer that. Searing is decent, but somewhat limited. Iced matcha: it tasted like culinary grade matcha, I wouldn't recommend. 4/10 Iced oat latte with honey: This was an okay latte! I think the espresso shots need to be pulled differently, we felt for all the espresso based drinks the espresso was not strong enough. Both drinks tasted watered down for a lack of a better word. 5/10 Atmosphere: The cafe is pretty spacious, around 7-8 tables and a large round table. There's also a couch and 2 arm chairs. This place is beautiful. I tried their banana latte and I loved it. I also got an ube croissant to share with my daughter. We loved it. The employees were all really sweet and friendly, I loved that people brought their dogs and my toddler was welcomed. The place is very clean and I saw the employees wiping stuff down and sweeping constantly. It seems like a good place to catch up with friends or study. My friends and I decided to go try this cafe. It's kind of in a weird center but there is plenty of parking, we also went a little bit later in the day around 2pm. The inside is pretty bare, they have the middle table with the cute tree and the cute couch set up but the walls are plain and they have what I'm thinking is suppose to be an artwork type of display end table thing, I'm assuming they're going for that minimalistic concept most coffee places do now which makes me sad because I personally like a more fun concept, but that's neither here or there lol. Some of their tables were dirty, which to be fair there was 3 of them working from what I can see and the building was pretty full so I think it was just a bit busy before we had got there. The ube croissant was really good but I think it can do with less filling as it is really sweet, had extra ube on top, and it was a decent sized croissant. The almond croissant was very good but also a bit sweet because of all the inside filling. The horchata latte was a bit sour and the flavor wasn't all there. The mango passionfruit refresher was really good. The matcha blueberry was also good but a bit on the sweet side. Customer service wise tho they were super nice and our orders came out quickly, I would def come back here and would say to come try if you haven't yet. read more

Minimalist vibes are in effect along with good coffee. A chill place where you can relax and listen to music of worship or a tranquil place to study and hang out. I'm not a religious person and not promoting this in any way but I'm just giving you the insight. Since it's the season for pumpkin drinks and everything else I ordered their Double Pumpkin Latte to start off with. It's definitely a good balance of coffee and the flavor but if you want to avoid any coffee I suggest giving it a good amount of swirls. As for me I really don't mind it but definitely not too sweet. The second drink was their Garden Blue which is basically a blueberry latte. The drink wasn't bad I'm not knocking it but I really wanted a little more blueberry flavor. The last drink I tried out was their take on Horchata. Ok so this drink totally got lost with the cinnamon powder and the burnt whiskey flavor mixed with horchata. Overall the coffee is decent and the type you can have in the afternoon and not the type that keeps you up all night. Super happy to see a coffee shop open close to home that isn't Starbucks. I came here during their soft opening and wanted to check it out. The line was pretty long, but went by quickly. The menu is a little hard to see if you're in the back waiting in line, but I already kind of knew what I wanted. Inside had some seating and a couch. A couple and their kids took over the couch area so we just found a table. Some people were here doing homework/work or just chatting. I do like the tree in the middle, that's really cute and flows well. It is a little bare on the walls, I think projection art or trees would be pretty cool to go with the projection menu. I got the Brulee & Beloved. I honestly don't remember what my husband got. We also got their cookies and cream cookie. The cookie was really good, but a bit sweet for me personally. I had some and the rest later. My drink was really good, but I think the sweet cookie and drink didn't mesh well and everything tasted too sweet for me. The drink itself was really good. There's plenty of parking outside and the inside is clean. I think my biggest annoyance was just where everyone was standing in line because when you walk in our out you're kind of blocked. I also wish they had earlier hours for those of us who work early and want to get a drink to go. The ube croissant was SOOO delicious - probably one of the best ube sweets I've ever had (found out all their pastries are made in house by one of the owners parents). The blueberry latte was also super delicious. The strawberry matcha was a bit too sweet - will ask them to drop the sweetness next time.
