Oh dear, yet another 'West End' ornamental junk - eh, I mean gift - shop for my mother to waste her money in and buy pointless gifts in.
However, as Eleanor pointed out it does have it's uses being up a minute's walk or thereabout for the Victoria Infirmary. Of course, it could also prove useful for picking up a sweet gift for close female friends or relatives too.
As it does have some really nice little home decor bits and pieces in it, especially bowels, cushions, candles and candle holders. Indeed, I really appreciate the style and character behind some of their pieces such as the chunky metal silver candle holders.
The interior of the shop is also extremely pleasant, net, tidy, clean and all their stock is well displayed. Something which undoubtedly draws in quite a few of the passing people, never mind encourages them to make their way all the way up to the till with money in hand.
Indeed, it's actually a nice, sweet little shop and definitely has it's place. Although, I still get the impression that there are a few too many of these types of shops popping up around Glasgow.
In saying this, it is nice to see that the South Side is catching up with the West End in some respects in the current cultural Glasgow makeover. read more
