Do not hire for furnishing or design. Moe Mousa charged me $10,000 for an apartment design of furniture and updates. He required 1/2 upfront and started off with some good design ideas so I agreed. However, what transpired afterward was truly a nightmare. After the deposit he had 1 month to get all the furniture in preparation of me going on a 2 week trip which is when I wanted to have the furniture moved in the updates completed. He claimed to of had 95% of the furniture arrived and waiting in his storage ready to be installed while I was gone. I went on my trip expecting to come back to a mostly completed apartment. When I got back into town my apartment was an absolute disaster. It looked like someone threw a party in my apartment while I was gone. Cigarette buts everywhere on my patio, food and drinks missing and my apartment was dirty and incomplete. There were damages to several pieces of my furniture and the cosmetic work was incomplete, sloppy and paint spots all over the floor, cabinets and appliances. I even purchased new bedding and pillows and he actually had the nerve to provide me a used comforter and stained pillows which clearly had been used. I was speechless to walk into such a mess. I felt completely disrespected with how terribly he and his crew treated my home while I was gone. I had to pay someone to clean up the paint and make repairs just to get the apartment back to what it was prior to him and his crew making a mess. It's been months and he won't return my calls and still don't have some of the furniture. I have had to hire a new designer to pick up where he left off and fix the mess he created. I tried multiple times to contact him to give him the opportunity to make it right and just provide me the remaining furniture. He has chosen not to respond to my offer to make it right which is why I ultimately and writing this review to warn others. read more

Do not hire for property staging or furnishing. I contracted Moe Mousa of Eden Interiors to furnish my Fort Lauderdale short-term rental property, paying $31,439.59 in full upfront on October 22, 2025. What followed was months of missed deadlines, damaged property, and documented dishonesty. Broken deadline. In writing, Mousa committed to completing the project "first week of Nov." The project was never completed. After more than two months with no delivery, I was forced to terminate the relationship in January 2026. He provided absolutely no value whatsoever. Used and damaged furniture delivered as new. Mousa provided items he admitted in text messages were "rentals" and "leftover from the old staging set" -- not the new furniture contracted and paid for. Photographic documentation confirms damaged lamp shades, bent frames, corroded hardware, and visibly worn surfaces. Property damage. His crew caused damage to the oven, drywall, ceiling, and paint. An independent licensed electrician assessed the electrical work and found exposed live wires and a wall-mounted TV secured with only two screws -- not anchored to studs. Unauthorized removal of personal property. Items belonging to me -- including nightstands, rugs, and tools -- were removed from the property without my knowledge or consent. Threatening behavior. When my property manager documented and reported the issues, Mousa sent multiple threatening messages, including: "I would think twice before doing such act," "You are ruining for everyone including yourself," and "I need you out of my way forever." After termination, I spent over 25K out of pocket replacing furniture myself and the property sat vacant for months, generating zero rental income during peak season. All of the above is supported by text message admissions, photographic evidence, bank records, and communications documented in a formal legal file. read more

I signed a contract with Eden to provide project management and interior design services for a full renovation, but Moe never got along with the realtor or the general contractor. He had promised to visit the property regularly and provide updates, for which I never received any during the entire project life. He called asking for a loan or increased advance in payment to 75% near the beginning of the project. Not wanting to hurt our relationship, I agreed to the extra upfront payment. Later, I ordered plumbing fixtures through him and received them a year later stating that he would only deliver them as needed. The plumbing fixtures delivered were not as shown on his design portal and he had substituted with cheaper ones. The shower valve was non-compliant with MDC code and he did not cooperate with the general contractor to replace it and I ended up having to pay for a replacement valve. My contract for staging was for three months and I paid for an extra three rooms for staging. Once staging furniture was received, the realtor mentioned that they were old and in bad shape and she even hid the bar stools in the closet as they did not show well. They did not stage an extra room as I paid for and for the bathrooms, staging consisted of only towels. After two months of staging, I received a text that he wanted the furniture back or that he was filing a lien. Not wanting anything more to do with this unstable person, I let him have his furniture back and I certainly won't be doing anymore business with him in the future. read more

They were hired to stage a 4 million dollar house and the staging job looked cheap and the throw pillows smelled terrible. The Cherry on top was an extremely expensive watch went missing on their final day at the property. Use an insured and professional stager!! Not this guy! read more

I am a general contractor and realtor. I recently used Eden Interiors and Home staging by Design for the first time at a country club property in Boca Raton, FL. Moe the owner did a fair job at staging the property. Unfortunately when it came time to remove the staging he and his company failed big time. Not only did they leave a huge mess in the property they also ruined multiple (6) walls with scratches and screws. Apparently Eden Interiors has never heard of Command Strips. When I reached out to them I was told Moe was too busy to contact me. They did however admit that they had used a totally new company to remove the furniture and sent them totally unsupervised. I now need to have 6 walls patched and completely painted and have the property professionally cleaned again because of what they did. I strongly recommend using a professional staging company other that Eden Interiors that knows how to care for expensive properties. read more

As a buyer I believe you should know exactly what you are buying. Here is the truth. I worked for the owner of this company over the last several months while furloughed from my real job. It was not a good experience to say the least. This company is a mess from top to bottom. The owner cannot keep employees because he can't pay them. It has been nearly two months and he still owes my partner and I money from the first week of May. The agreement was that he would compensate us daily for our work; this didn't happen and now somehow it is "our fault" that he still owes us money, nearly $600.00 from a 15 hour day of work. The owner does not appear to be of sound mind and body, at least not from a business perspective. He cannot communicate intelligently to employees or clients which was extremely frustrating. He claims his business is booming but this is clearly not the case. We would routinely drop off furniture to beautiful homes for staging. On countless occasions the owner or realtor would be there and they would literally look at us like we were crazy. The furniture is not well cared for, it is visibly dirty, scratched, dented etc. Apparently you can cover up just about anything with an equally dirty pillow right off the floor of a filthy truck. It was embarrassing to say the least. Buyer beware with Eden Interiors. He claims that he has stellar reviews but if you look it's family and personal friends leaving the reviews. Take it from someone who has seen it from the inside. There are plenty of other home staging companies in South Florida with stellar reviews. Eden interiors is not one of them. Eden Interiors did a wonderful job staging our waterfront 2 bedroom 2.5 bath condominium. Moe, Mike and their team were responsive and most accommodating to our needs. Their response time was exceptional. We have used them for two staging projects and will call them for our future needs. This company is outstanding. read more
