We love Jerry. He is kind and has always given us great. As for the other comments, I'm not sure what one person means with having a service dog. He treats all dogs the same and just because it's service dog will not get special treatment. I know this from personal experience. I also know whenever I've had an emergency they take the dog in and you may have to wait or leave it, but they've always fitted me in dog cat whatever so I'm not sure what that comment was for either. We have been going to him for years. We've tried other vets from here to Madison and none of them comes close. We do take our cats which rarely have anything wrong but yearly shots to another Vet because of the cost, but if I had an emergency with my cats that Vet would not touch them as they have been a joke since I would go into them. But I save money to have all these animals in my home vaccinated and treated for everything. read more

I spoke with Lisa about my Service animal and my rights to remain with my dog under ADA. She claimed to speak with Dr. Booth and told me that trained, untrained, and working animals are all treated the same no matter the circumstances. I offered to educate her as most places simply don't know their rights and responsibilities under Federal law regarding service animals. She got defensive and falsely claimed all veterinarians practiced the same thing when this was the first vet I have had do this. I am new to Eden but have lived in many places with many veterinarians along the way, I am a military brat, and army veteran. This is the first one that demanded to separate the service dog from me for a non-medical procedure or find another vet. I will keep traveling from Eden to Greensboro for my dog's care until I find a local one willing to learn and abide by federal laws. read more

My moms cat was acting strange. We called as soon as they opened on Monday morning and they told us to bring her right then and we could leave her for them to do testing. Turns out the cat has diabetes and has to take insulin. When I tell you that dr. Boothe took his time explaining the process to giving this cat insulin and all of the dos and donts, he was a God send to us. Thank you all so much! I walked into this hospital with a bleeding dog. No one greeted me, no one asked to help. My hubby asked can someone help me, my dog cut his foot and is bleeding. We were asked do you have an appointment? No. Was told we only have 1 doctor and he is seeing his scheduled appointments. WHAT???? We said so there is no one who can help us?? Finally got an answer... go to another place that had more vets!! OMG!!! Left there and did find another vet hospital in another town that was concerned and took us in right away!!! We moved from Philadelphia, PA to rural Eden three years ago. I was concerned that we would have a hard time finding a place for our boxer/pit mix Rudy to be treated and boarded. After asking several people and checking reviews we decided to go with Eden Vet. I am so glad! They have been so caring to our big boy and take great care of him when we want to head back home for a few days. Their Covid precautions have been top notch utilizing parking lot drop offs and pick ups. Highly recommend. read more

They have been taking care of my pets for over 12 years. They have been nothing but kind, caring, and gentle with my two cats and dog. Both vets are this way. Some reviews mention the front desk, she is never rude. She is actually very kind and has a lot on her plate as you will notice she is usually by herself with a room full of people with their pets waiting to be seen. read more

Probably one of the worst vets weve ever seen. Started out well but after the second visit it was clear we were not going to get along. This vet is opinionated and had no bedside manner. Was rude and self absorbing and clearly all about the $. Didn't like to be questioned in regard to treatments and Didn't Like that second opinions were sought. Unfriendly and argumentative front desk staff. Wouldn't advise anyone to go here. Small town rude vets! read more

Dr Jerry Boothe is probably the best Vet we have been too.. Our family pet has terminal cancer and Dr Boothe broke the news too us.. We was pretty upset and tears was rolling down his face as well as ours.. True testament of his character in my opinion. He explained all our options and exactly what he seen through the imaging, blood work and examination of our pet.. Gave us a couple directions on what to do and how to make our pet comfortable. We will continue support this veterinary hospital for years to come. read more

I really Love Eden Vet!!! I have visited several different vets in the county and Eden vet is by far the best one I have ever been to!! They help with my fosters, my pets, and rescues! The office is normally very busy but they always find time and compassion for all the dogs I bring in. And they dont charge an arm and a leg for their services. The receptionist is very knowledgeable and helps in anyway she can and stays very busy!! I wouldn't take my animals anywhere else!!! read more

Dr Booth is great, treats pets like his own. He is also good and respectful with the owners. I would give him 4 stars. What drops it down is the lack of care with the new vet (Brandon?). The worst part of it is the receptionist. I have never observed someone so awful with clients, disrespectful, condescending, and down right rude. She should not be working with the public, retiring might be best in this case. I have witnessed her behavior over the phone to clients who were very worried about their pet as well as multiple times to clients face to face in the office. I refuse to deal with her whenever possible due to her behavior to clients. She appears to have this "power/I know all" attitude with clients, she is the worst, too bad something wasn't done about this. read more
