Over the course of 25 years I've dealt with physical therapy to help overcome injuries and usually these sessions were short lived because I realized I was better off doing it myself because it felt "cookie cutter" when I would go. However, I developed FAI and needed hip surgery. The doc ordered Edge to help me work through this. As you can imagine, I went thinking I would get the same results as the others. I was wrong. Eric took time to explain to me what caused the FAI in the first place (via a skeleton example) and then tailored the sessions to my specific needs - this was exactly what I needed. He also held me accountable. It's been over a year since I last went, but Edge (Eric) gave me a "lifelong" PT education/plan to make sure my hip issue does not come back. So far my hip has done great and I'm back to normal, but I had to work for it. Bottom line: I had a great experience and they truly want to help you lead a quality life by working with you. I have been lifting weight for 50 years. I competed for 10 years before my back gave me too many problems. I continued to work out for the next 40 years. I have had knee surgery 3 times. Back surgery 2 years ago L3, L4, L5 and S1 fused together. Carpal tunnel surgery on both hands and wrists shortly after back surgery. Then I had Lt Rotator Cuff Surgery on 2-2-2021. My surgeon told me that it would take a year to get back to where I was at. After 12 weeks with Mike and Eric at Edge Physical Therapy, I was back at the gym. I struggled with a severe case of tennis elbow for months, even going as far as getting a cortisone from my primary care physician. After that didn't work, I went in to see Mike. He warned me it was a hard thing to remedy, that it could take months of treatment and none use to heal, especially for someone as active as myself. After a few weeks of treatment, I was already seeing better results than the cortisone shot. It was long until I was pain free. I had had issues with my shoulder for several months. The doctor recommended trying PT before an MRI and possibly surgery. My therapist, Brent, did a great job working with me, assessing where I was and how to make progress. With the work in the clinic, and the exercises he gave me to do at home, I made great progress and am doing many things that I hadn't done in months without pain. I was really pleased with Edge Physical Therapy . They did a excellent job of getting me back on my feet , after breaking my leg in two places . I came in with a walker , and walked out without it, a month and half later . Over the time there , I seen them work with people from 18 to eighty . And they were able to meet each one's needed . I had left labrum surgery the first week of February and after six weeks of healing I decided that Edge PT was the best place for my recovery. The entire staff is very hard working and are all very nice. The facility is always clean and has everything I needed for my recovery. After a back injury, I got to the point where I was hunched over on my left side and could not stand upright. I worked with Eric and the Edge Team and within a couple of months, I was standing upright and back to riding my motorcycle. Everyone in the office is friendly and professional. I had Edge recommended to me & it proved to be excellent advice. I worked primarily with Eric and he was fantastic. However, I also worked briefly with the others & found the mix to be great - all on the same page, but slightly different techniques, so very useful. I've come here over the years for a variety of injuries - hamstring, knee, etc. - and always see Mike. He takes an overall look at what's going on to properly diagnose, for example, my knee injury was actually a result of a sore IT Band.
