She was very upset and demanded me to meet her at the police station. Since I knew I was not at fault, I happily obliged. Officer Beltran greeted us. She patiently listened to the other driver describe the incident and demonstrated with matchbox cars. In doing so, the other driver unknowingly admitted that she was the guilty party. Silently I stood. I felt for her. Officer Beltran was very professional and curteous. Police Officers often get a bad rap. I have many friends in law enforcement. Next time you have a run in with a police officer, please remember respect is a two way street.

At least there are signs telling you that you need to purchase a ticket beforehand on the Ventra app, but I can't use that, so I had to run into a nearby business to get cash. Also the wheelchair ramps are so long that it's hardly a "disability accessible" platform! The benches are peeling badly due to weather exposure. Hope to see this station improved.

For whatever reason, 10 days later, I got two more responses with VERY HELPFUL tips that educated me on an organization I didn't even know about during my reporting days. I don't know how I slept through the organization they recommended, but I leaped at the chance to contact it to resolve my complaint. I genuinely appreciate that they followed up even after some time because they really could've chosen to ignore me the way my ACTUAL alderwoman is (while taking selfies on Instagram and posting about renaming parks). Instead, they did the exact opposite. They read and responded to my email, and then came back with other ways to assist.
