This is a fun gallery to visit with an excellent outdoor sculpture garden with a lot of amazing large pieces as well as much more affordable pieces for the average customer (e.g. fish for $50-100). The indoor gallery also features a nice range of media and prices with some beautiful mosaics and glass art as well as paintings. It's a nice place to spend an hour or so even if you aren't in the market to buy something at the time of your visit. read more

I guess it's already been 4 years since we last visited, but it was very enjoyable to meander through the galleries and the grounds again and enjoy the artwork. There is always something new to enjoy and it is a very relaxed, comfortable, and unhurried setting here. We almost bought some jewelry for the grand-darlings but didn't quite bite the bullet. Maybe something on another future visit. read more

The art at Edgewood Orchard isn't just contained to the gallery. It spills out everywhere: in the garden, in the parking lot, in the restroom. This whole space is a work of art. This is one of the neatest Midwest galleries that I've visited, and it didn't hurt that on the day that I visited, they were offering free bloody Marys and hot chocolate. Of course, I partook of the hot chocolate (with a glug of Bailey's, because it was there). How nice to have a little drink while perusing all of the art everywhere. It makes the art pop that much more. Edgewood has artwork from more than 100 artists in a wide range of media: paintings, sculpture, glass, clay, wood, jewelry. I left with a coaster for my father that had a dragonfly on it (a special symbol to our family). There is artwork in every price range here, so you can leave with a little bit of Door County artwork no matter your budget. read more

An easy to find gallery with an art decorated walking trail . The sculptures were so unique. The grounds are worth the trip when the weather is pleasant. The buildings were also nice to walk around and enjoy the wonderful landscaping. The outdoor art sculptures, birdhouses and garden stakes were well designed, but out of my price point. We also thoroughly enjoyed the gallery, paintings , jewelry , sculptures and petter art items . Unfortunately, I knew I would not be walking out with any item, but there were many I would have liked to own. I would highly recommend a visit to enjoy the grounds and art. read more

You will enjoy this gallery! This gallery offers an array of art from whimsical to serious, modern, contemporary and traditional. Over the years, I've made many purchases here. Nothing really expensive but nice pieces for myself or gifts. The layout is also interesting with an expansive outdoor art display and several distinct indoor spaces. Staff is helpful and knowledgeable about the pieces. read more

My husband and I stumbled across this wonderful art gallery, we are not huge into art. But this place just wows us away! Take a stroll through the walkway in the forest and enjoy all the incredible sculptures! Build your own rock formations. More art in the building & upstairs. So worth the stop! This is a wonderful place to stop and spend a little time during your Door County adventures. You'll first notice a fantastic sculpture garden / wooded walk. Go ahead and peruse the paths and enjoy the beautiful intersection of woods and structures. Then, don't be shy! Go inside the galleries and wander. Edgewood Orchard Galleries presents the works of several local and national artists, and the gallery is lovely, just a great environment to relax and view lovely pieces. I tend not to go into art galleries, thinking they are a) stuffy and b) expensive and or snooty. Edgeweood Art Gallies is high end, no doubt, but you don't feel weird going inside. Or at least, I didn't. Maybe I'm old enough now that I don't worry too much about what folks think! But it's a very beautiful and non-intimidating space. As for the artwork, there is a variety of glass, jewelry, ceramic, and paintings. I think they've curated their offerings beautifully, and in fact, I fell in love with a few pieces while there! Doh! This was just meant to be a little side trip. But now I know, and would I buy something from Edgewood? Absolutely if the time and money were right. Am I fantasizing about a few of the pieces there -- definitely! We will be back! read more

Original art abounds both inside the vintage barns and outside along the pleasant wandering path through the woods. This is definitely a MUST see in Door County. The gallery has been around for 50 years and over the years has represented incredibly talented and famous artists. There is a vast collection of painting, sculpture, glass, furniture and some incredible jewelry. They have items you can give as gifts, as well as the works of modern masters that will appreciate over time. Each month they have featured artists giving talks or demonstrations.
