Before getting an MRI on my shoulder a friend recommended seeing a chiropractor. $39 for the consult and X rays, sure why not. Call it divine intervention, spooky coincidence... this was the first place I found with the first open appointment. Dr Chris is personable and takes time to explain things thoroughly, but calmly. The neck pain I've always written off as stress since my teenage years? Apparently that's not normal. I learned a lot in my consult, information needing my immediate attention and action. We put together a treatment plan, milestones and goals included, with an understanding that if things haven't improved in 3 months, we'd need a neck MRI. They connected with my insurance to find out what would be covered, and what I can expect to pay. No surprise billing. I'm starting to feel better, pain is reducing, mobility improving, excited to see where my X rays are in a few weeks. So far so good. Dr. Chris is simply the best. My back has become really wonky post child birth and carrying said child as he became heavier and heavier - if you are a mom you know the drill - but Dr. Chris and his staff brought it back to its "original condition". I was skeptical about chiropratic medicine in general but it worked for me, the improvement can be clearly seen in the before and after x-rays. My left and right shoulders were in two different altitudes from always carrying my child on one side but now they are back together and I no longer look like the proverbial Hunchback of Notre Dame. read more

I have never had an establishment make me so frustrated before. I went here to try and get some serious back pain fixed. I chose a chiropractor at random and I just wanted to get my pain fixed. When I went here, I was first disappointed because they wanted to discuss a lot of things and do x-rays first. That day, they didn't even touch me, unlike other chiropractors I had been to who fixed me up in no more than 15 minutes. Then I came back to 'discuss the results of my x-rays' and was led to believe that what I was dealing with was pretty severe. Dr. Patrick recommended that I do a 12 week program, for 4 of the weeks I would visit 3 times a week. While discussing this he used so much jargon and spoke so much, I really though what was going on with my back was a pretty big deal. And then he started talking about the price and writing all of these numbers down and then crossing them out, saying what a good deal I would get if I paid the entire amount all at once. And then I realized: I was in a sales pitch. Then I was brought to the front desk where I was encouraged to book all of the appointments for the 12 weeks and to pay then. Obviously, like any sane person, I said I would need some time to think. In reality I had already decided I would never go back there, but I was just too afraid to say that. Then, finally, after all of that, he cracked my back for about 5 minutes. I left there being so angry because this place is such a racket. They don't open until 9 (except for on Tuesdays), which is so incredibly inconvenient for anybody a part of the working class (the people who probably need a chiropractor the most) and who has time to go to the chiropractor 3 times a week? After all of this, I emailed them and said I wouldn't be returning because I had gotten a second opinion (which was a lie, I just knew I would never go back here). The owner, Dr. Chris, was incredibly nice via email, but I am sure it was just so that I wouldn't leave a bad review. Anyway, I continued about my life for a couple of weeks and my back pain had actually gotten worse. I was starting to feel it in places that I never had before and it hurt more than it did before I visited here. So I went to a chiropractor that I had previously visited (in Fargo, ND) and our entire appointment was no more than 15 minutes. He told me what I was dealing with is very common for people who sit at a desk all day (which I do, as I am a student), then cracked my back and I was on my way. The pain is now completely gone and he said that I might have to return very 6 months to a year, which is completely manageable, unlike three times a week. Yes, the people who work here are nice and the place itself was very nice and relaxing, but there entire business is about making money, not offering people relief. read more

Dr. Bartman has an exceptional ability to identify the precise problem during a physical exam and then does a great job "setting you straight" and getting everything connected so that you can live a happier, healthier life. Dr. Chris and Dr. Zach are hands down the best chiropractors I've ever been lucky enough to be treated by. After 2 back surgeries I still had aches and pains everyday. I had resigned myself to this and thought I would just have to live with it. Working as a carpenter for 42 years has left my body with many injuries, Doctors Cris and Zack have kept me from two surgeries. Last year I herniated 3 disks with one of the disk being serrated, as a piece of disc floated in my spinal fluid 2 surgeons recommended immediate surgery. Trusting Dr. Chris and Dr. Zach, I accepted their recommendations and started using their decompression tables 3 times a week along with manipulation. I can report that retirement was offered to me, but I chose to follow their plan for 6 months and returned to my regular job. I see them weekly and honestly believe that my stubbornness and their skills have cheated the surgeons. My 9 month old daughter has been seeing Dr. Bargmann for chronic ear infections for about a month now, and since seeing him she has not had another one!
