Used Edinburgh Glass and Glazing in Jan 11 to replace 9 windows with tilt and turn double glazed windows. I chose them because: 1) they are part of Network Veka and the guarantees and quality control offered by this appealed to me. 2) their tilt and turn windows can be locked 3 different ways including a setting so that they can only tilt but not turn we have young children so safety was paramount and not all windows have this feature. To be able to set them back to be able to turn (open like a door), you need the key. 3) they are an established local firm who do a lot of high profile commercial work as well as domestic work 4) their price was competitive. I liked the fact that it was the fitter, and not a salesman, who came out to measure up and discuss options. We are very happy with the windows themselves and the fitter was very professional, did a very neat job and was careful to clear up after himself. There was much less mess and disruption than I'd expected. We did have an issue around the size and placing of the windows. We had requested a space at the top to allow us to use our existing blinds and not have to purchase new ones.
