My throat was bothering me while in Edinburgh. Fortunately it's gone away now. I'd like to believe Edinburgh Press Club contributed to this remarkable recovery time. It was an hour before closing when I walked in. I'm not sure that was necessary to tell me, since it doesn't take me an hour to drink a cup of tea and also I saw their hours posted on the door. Nonetheless I grabbed a stool and ordered the jasmine green tea. It was so good I could've had another pot! Staff was friendly. Decor is modern and minimalistic. It's a good spot for tea in Old Town, for sure.

Nice spot to hang out and recharge. Comfortable seats and didn't feel rushed. Scone came with creamer butter and tasty raspberry jam. Water available at a table with glasses. Free WiFi.

Yessssss! First order of business fresh off the train in Edinburgh.... Coffee and bakes of course! Cheese scone and liqueur coffees with fresh cream on top. Bakery case looked divine and artisan quality. Would've loved to order a sandwich but lunch food is served after noon. Clever coffee ordering menu and food options attached... We chose this place by looking in the window, but we hope you choose it based off if our review! Gotta run, next stop vintage shops!

Nice enough coffee, been twice and both times have been really disappointed by cake selection. Better alternatives on the same street I'm afraid!

If you walk just a few minutes off the Royal mile you can enjoy a scone with your morning cup of Joe.

Best Vanilla Latte we have ever had. Double espresso and earl grey tea were perfect also!

I came pretty close to the opening and was able to select my choice for seats. I picked a table near the window for natural lighting. They have a table of a lot of tasty treats and while I didn't get a chance to try them all, I can attest to the scone being very tasty! I ordered the Cream Tea (I think I ordered the Lemon and Elderflower) which comes with a freshly baked homemade scone (I chose a fruit one), and a cup of tea €6.80. I decided to upgrade to a pot of tea (€7.75) and added a bowl of porridge (€5.50) with jam as I usually prefer savory breakfasts. This was more than enough to eat for one, but I just enjoy trying different items - does anyone else have this problem? lol I thoroughly enjoyed my experience here as the ambiance, food and tea were homey and intimate. This would be such a fun place to converse with girlfriends for tea time!

We had breakfast here on our first day in Edinburgh. It's cozy and the walls are covered with paintings, antique cups, and plates. To be honest the walls are quite chaotic but that's where the personality comes in. We ordered the eggs with toast and the full Scottish breakfast. Food was great, coffee hit the spot, and service was excellent. Even with the chaos they keep the place clean. Also, BEWARE they do not have hot sauce here LOL. I asked the server and she said "No, but it was worth a try to ask" Respect lol. We sat by the window and people watched and awed at the beautiful architecture of Edinburgh. It's a chill spot to rest and refuel. Would love to come back for their afternoon tea!
