If you're a man, "Avoid at all costs". These girls DO NOT understand English. They have been in this country long enough now and still refuse to improve their English. While cutting your hair, they constantly spend most of the time chatting non stop in Spanish and not concentrating on what they are doing. I have been going there for some time. There is one of the hairdressers who addresses the male customers as `handsome' after she has totally destroyed your hair when you have specifically told her NOT to cut it too short. Either she doesn't listen, can't understand English or is completely incompetent. She cut my hair almost 3 weeks ago and I was tempted to refuse to pay. If there is a regulator, report her, because she should definitely not be allowed anywhere near men's hair. Don't believe the positive reviews either. They're fake. read more

Changing barbers is a bit of a lottery, but this place was recommended. Been 3 times now and cant…read moresay I am impressed. Expensive compared to most, so I expect better, but results were average at best. Each visit, each time a different barber, completely different result. No consistency. On two of the occasions, the conversations between staff of other customers was mostly about other bad customers and how any complaints they had were unjustified. Not professional. On a positive note, I like the appointment system. However, I pay a premium price to book and have to pay an extra £1 booking fee. You are already the most expensive barber I have used to date. I think three bites of the cherry is enough. If you want a skin fade or modern look, then they might be right for you, but if you just want a normal haircut its over priced, inconsistently delivered and the conversation is unprofessional.

I have been going to Edith's for over 6 years once a week because of the type of hair style I have and never have any problems I have long hair with a braid with sides and back shaved zero. There English is fine to me so have no idea what this other review is talking about. Saying all there reviews are fake. They are very lovely people to everyone and cater to your needs so I highly recommend them. They cut mens, women's and children's hair and do a fantastic job. That's why I have been going for 6 years as they do exactly what I ask for and are super nice when you go there. So is easily a 5 star for me read more

Love going to Edith's for my haircut and have been for over 15 years now. Everyone is so friendly, it is such a welcoming place. There is always music playing, it is a relaxed with a family friendly atmosphere. It is one of the highlights of my month and I always walk out with a smile on my face, no matter how I have felt when I walked in. read more
