We bought a new 2022 RAV4 from Edmark with the extended service plan. I've had nothing but bad experiences every time I brought the vehicle in. You are NOT treated like a customer, instead you feel as if they're doing YOU a favor by selling/servicing your car. Today, I brought my vehicle in for an alignment and during the wait I was going to test drive the new RAV4. My salesperson ((Ryan) belittled my comments when I said I was hesitant to purchase a hybrid (no other options for the 2026 RAV4). We never did test drive the vehicle. After telling me that "I don't know how the system (financing)works" I handed him the keys and got out of the vehicle. His demeanor became somewhat violent. I said I was going to talk to one of his managers, and he got into my face yelling and threatening me. I talked to his manager, but we all know it'll go nowhere. Do yourselves a favor and stay away! As an out of stater, it was a very smooth and easy process buying a car from Edmark but when I received my car I noticed they had put a decal of their dealership name on it without my authorization. Seems disrespectful to do that on someone else's property without their permission. Now I have to spend extra time I don't have to remove it and hope it doesn't damage my paint in the process. Waiting to hear back from my salesperson Sean if they'll reimburse me for a decal eraser wheel. 3 stars for the extra unnecessary inconvenience and hassle. WAY BETTER THAN PETERSON TOYOTA! First off, the service department here sells 3 oil changes (plus tire rotation) for $160. I was paying $100 each visit at Peterson. So with that deal you're getting nearly half off. Secondly, this dealership actually sells the Toyota warranty, not the one through Fidelity (like Peterson does) which isn't as good. The service advisors are more professional and way more knowledgeable here. Just come here because Peterson can screw up oil changes repeatedly. Had I known I would have purchased my car here and not Peterson, but Edmark will absolutely have my business next time without question. Great in-person dealership staff and service experiences. Just unhappy with calling my local dealer and those calls going to a call center with people who have heavy Indian accents and are really difficult to understand. This makes the entire customer experience process really bad. This is a management decision, and obviously done for cost purposes, but this is pushing me and my family to take our new Toyota vehicles to another dealership. I need companies to make my life easier, and if a company fails at customer service, I simply don't have the time or patience. Started with Nicole in sales and eventually dealt with sales mgr Manny and Tony for the final details. It is a professional operation and it was easy to arrange the deal online and set up an appointment to pick up the car. All communication was consistent and there were no surprises in dealer add-ons or price changes. Given my Druthers, I'd go to Hometown Toyota! Took the wife's Cross in for a ToyotaCare service and to have a software update completed. First you have to schedule service two weeks in advance. The Toyota service bulletin said the software update takes 45 minutes. Perfect, they take an hour for an oil change. Brittany and the service manager told me that they take 3 hours for the update, and I should plan on leaving the car for the day. This isn't right and Toyota is at a loss for Edmark's reasoning. Sorry, I don't trust these folks to do the most basic service anymore. They also have one of the worst automated phone trees that I've ever encountered. Cannot talk to a person, get sent to voice mail or dropped repeatedly. The staff just doesn't care! read more

The team at Edmark made this transaction as painless as possible which is rarely the case with a vehicle purchase. Our salesman, Gilbert Sifuentes, was a total pro. He knew the vehicle inside and out, didn't play games and was honest if he didn't know and answer- but closed the loop with the answer after getting it. The finance portion went very well, Lisa made sure we had any questions answered while we were sitting there and while she covered all the various warranties and add-ons we all have to sit through, made it as painless as possible. Gilbert was also nice enough to introduce me to one of the service managers (Brian) who was able to answer all the questions I had about maintenance and engine break in times. All in all, it was the nicest experience we've had outside one Mercedes-Benz purchase years ago. If you are looking for a Toyota in the Treasure Valley, just go to Edmark and thank me later. Went in for a very expensive repair on my Tundra. (over $2,000) Repair was done, but no test drive after. I was pulling out of dealership parking lot and heard a very loud noticeable metallic rubbing sound coming from the front tire area where the repair was done. They had to take truck back into service to address the issue and I had to wait an additional hour for them to fix. If they had done a test drive after, this could have avoided the frustration on all parties involved. read more

normally my experience is great but in his case my radio knob needed replaced. I was told the part was ordered and could stop by anytime after 9:00 the next day. when I stopped to get it replaced I was advised my part came in but it was sold to someone else that day. Took my 2015 Toyota (92,000 miles) in to have the water pump replaced, it was growling. As a general rule and it is highly recommended that the thermostat be replaced at the same time and possibly the radiator hoses. The service tech did not mention these other items (they always try to upsale, more money in their pocket). Well they completed the job without replacing any of the additional parts. If I were a 73 yr old grandma, I wouldn't know any different. But, I'm a 73 yr old mechanically inclined grandpa and Ive known since high school that the extra parts are just normal and inexpensive to replace (but expensive to replace due to labor costs) especially when the water pump is very difficult to replace and the thermostat is right there. It's only common sense to replace everything at one time. When you ask Google the question about Toyota service centers the answer is a resounding yes they should be replaced and at the very least, ask the customer. I guess common sense is very rare these days. read more
