Honestly, it's about Honesty. I went to see Jessie here for a second opinion on the replacement of an alternator and battery. He did a quick load test and told me the alternator is perfectly healthy and the battery has about a year left before any need to worry. This is a stark contrast from the previous shop that advised "the battery is toast, and I would change the alternator as well, i can do it for #### dollars." 45% cheaper versus the dealership! I purchased a new battery for my motorcycle for significantly less compared to what the dealership quoted me. A new battery, one year warranty and he made sure it was fully charged for me. He gave me $5 for my old battery saving me driving time to a depot to drop it off. If youre having battery troubles, come here before you go anywhere else! They have a few locations. Im a new customer. I've been having battery troubles as of late with my Mopar OEM battery. I figured I would try Edmonds before I hit a big box store. I'm really glad I did. Turned out my battery was 8 years old so the fact it worked as long and as well as it did, I was pretty happy with but I def needed a new one. Buddy who was working the counter was good enough to humor my questions, offered great advice and was even willing to price match the other guys. I'm glad my money was spent here. This is my new go to for any battery problems. Don't hesitate. PS; The 1 star below by Leigh is pretty unwarranted. They are good enough to offer free tests on your battery, but if your battery is old as dirt why would they waste their time testing it? Its common knowledge batteries last 4-6 years, if you're clearly over that, come on. read more

They do free load testing, offer reasonable installation rates, and have good prices on batteries. I called ahead to make sure they had my battery in stock, and when I picked it up it at the front counter, they had it ready for me, charged up and ready to go. The staff were great and quick. Called in to ask about replacing my battery said he could do it right away as long as I was there before 4:30pm as they closed at 5pm. Mind you I called at 3:50pm. It is a sad day. I have been coming to this place for years back when it use to be called Edmonds Battery Warehouse. Any battery problem I would go here and referred all my friends. Like the below poster my first experience with the them exceeded my expectations. It was many years ago and I still remember it. Car not starting. They did some tests and determined it was not an expensive part like the battery or alternator but just a corrosion issue. They cleaned the battery, put some anti corrosion gel and some felt pads on all for nothing. I tipped the guy $10 I was so happy back in 1995. With that small act they had my business any time I was in need. Each interaction was beyond my expectations from a service and pricing stand point. In 2014 it is not the same place. I rolled in and left my car running like their sign said if it needed testing. I waited patiently. When it was my turn we popped the hood. The response was "That looks like the original battery and a replacement is $97." No test, no evaluation, no diagnosis...I could have gotten this at Canadian Tire. Epic fail. You lost a life long customer today. Maybe tattooed guy should get into the UFC...no hope for him in service. read more

I received great customer service from Jessie when I came with a problem deep-cycle RV battery. He really went the extra mile, testing the battery and explaining to me why it needed replacing. As a woman, I have had the experience where mechanics and auto people talk down to me, assuming I won't know anything, Jessie was the opposite. The battery was really stuck in the compartment with a rusted bolt, and when I offered to help him get it out he was very gracious and accepted. Together we removed it, and he replaced it with a no-maintenance deep-cycle battery with a great warranty. read more
