As everyone already knows, when police investigate police, the police are held harmless and the abuse continues. The Mayor does not give a shyte about abuse, as he has stated over the radio he is too busy running the city, to care about individual situations. People do not have to answer questions from the police. 2. Police are not entitled to a response. 3. People do not "have to" be a witness for the police. 4. People do not "have to" provide video evidence captured on their video camera's. 5. Police and not "Entitled" to video captured on private security camera systems. 6. People do not "have to" assist the police with their investigation. 7. Police are not "Entitled" to assistance from Private citizens (except under certain legal times). 8. Attempting to shame people into compliance, is a pitiful tactic. 9. Threatening citizens into compliance, makes you the bully/abuser. 10. Police have implied consent to come to the front door. 11. If there is signage removing that implied consent, then you must obey it. 12. People are under no obligation to answer the door. 13. When my ex-commonlaw stalked me for years on end and eventually started to lie to police about me being dangerous to my step daughter, the young Police women in the force began to believe him when he would cry wolf about me. This went on for 2 years and eventually some of the old male members of the force (including the Police Chief) began to get suspicious of him. I was eventually able to get a restraining order against him and would go and talk to the older male police when my ex-commonlaw would use the words "crazy" and "unstable" and "dangerous"to describe me to female young police officers who would then get the Police to visit me at home. They would never arrive when he was in the midst of stalking me. They would however arrive when he would cry wolf. It's a terrible shame that young woman are not smarter to the going's on of a violent offender and stalker and would just believe him because he's very good at crying and using his child as a pawn in his sick games. I am thankful though for the Serious Crimes Investigation Unit detectives because they aren't morons. Most of the regular force street officers have left A LOT to be desired in being able to grasp the gravity of being stalked for years. read more

Police is useless in this city of Edmonton. They never do anything to prevent crime when you call them, but rather show up after the crimes are done. They can never catch real criminals , as in the Jimmos case a couple of days ago, who is a former UFC fighter that got run over and died they had the criminal in sight and stopped chasing them "for safety reasons", or when they released the Greyhound be-header guy. The EPS and its gang members is as useless as a bag of hammers, I personally know of a pedophile that they released, of a robbery that my family reported and never got resolved and of them not showing up when my mother was being abused by my stepfather. There's a lunatic in my neighbourhood, he broke my shoulder on Oct 16/24. I have to have major surgery on it I am trying not to & doing my best to not have to do this. This ass-hole is still running around our hood, blotto most of the time. Just looking for a fight. For the most part, I ignore it. But tonight, he had the audacity to to taunt me? He got away with this assault. But he's just such a loud mouth colossal idiot, I called 911. EPS came eventually & at first I thought they understood my concerns about said threat? Having professionally consulted for numerous organizations regarding both drug abuse and gangs, I can categorically attest to the fact that EPS is one of the most incompetent and disorganized police departments in Canada. They are the closest real life embodiment of the keystone cops that I have ever dealt with or been made aware of. You know when you get hit and run by a big truck and your sitting in the hospital with he bones on your right side shattered and broken in 16 places. Then the police come by take your statement and than tell you to go look for witnesses even though you can't move in a hospital bed.
