Took my car to have a coolant leak fixed. 10 days latter less than 300 miles driven. I'm not mechanical, I trust when I bring my car to a professional they fix the problem and look over the car to make sure I will not have the same issue in the near future. The tow bill was roughly 250.00. The topper shop did not want to pay this bill and went to extreme measures not to pay it. Those include Will taking the bold, yet hilarious stance of, you can't expect the mechanics to predict when a part would go bad. Yet, the people I know like to get their cars fixed before they end up stranded. So, one must assume there are mechanics that are able to predict if a part will go bad in the near future but too bad for me, the Topper Shop doesn't employ any. Tammy, I'm thinking in an attemp to make me feel bad, but not really sure why treated me like a charity case acting like they went out of their way for me the first time I bought the car in. (I brought my car to a mechanic, I paid them to fix the car and somehow, I'm charity) while also calling me crazy and swearing on the phone (all over a 250.00 tow bill, because they did not do the job I hired them to do in the first place) They did end up paying the bill but in their words it was a compromise. There was no admission of any wrongdoing on their part. This leads me to believe this is how they always run their business. So, if you are a person that enjoys being stranded because of a broken down vehicle days after having the same issue fixes I highly recommend the Topper Shop.

I ordered…read moreparts for my vehicle to be shipped from Michigan to east coast, and the shipping has been extremely delayed due to mistakes and miscommunications at this business. First, it was very difficult for me to receive a tracking number after I had purchased my Parts. Employee's informed me they would call me back with updates on the shipping, but I had to reach out half a dozen times to receive any update whatsoever. I was often told that 'The computer was frozen', amongst other excuses, including an employee not knowing how to attach a PDF of my receipt to an email, and me having to guide them through the process. I did not receive any shipping information for over two weeks after I placed the order and payed nearly $1000 to this business. Then, after my item was finally delivered to the drop off point, Michigan Auto Recyclers had made a mistake on the paperwork and the drop off location was unable to properly process the package, delaying the whole experience by 3 or 4 days. Dealing with this business was a huge ordeal and I can not say I would reccomened them. I'm sure some customers have had positive experiences, and they are an honest business that means well, but the level of incompetence was completely unreasonable in this instance. I have no expectations at this point, but from a customer perspective I would hope Michigan Auto Recyclers would be willing to make things right with a partial shipping cost reimbursement for having to spend a considerable amount of unnecessary time and energy to deal with the incompetence of this transaction.

They did but they still go flat. went on vacation came home to 2 flat tires. When i arrived one of the guys working showed me the tires and told me to pull into the bay. OMG! This is where it gets good... Out of nowhere 4 guys with 4 jacks and 4 impact wrenches come out and jacked us up while we were still in the car. Each worker took a tire changed it , balanced it and installed it back on the car. The guy took my payment from my car window. They lowered the jacks to set my car down and I was done. ALL OF THIS WAS DONE IN 22 MINUTES UNREAL!!!! I have never seen service like this and probably won't ever again. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Great job guys. You proved to me that there is still hope when it comes to service. I will be a loyal customer.
