I eliminated two of the options based on a lack of response or follow-up to my inquiries, leaving two where I focused on quality of product, price, and installation. In the end, Andy's was able to provide a 15% better price for the exact same product, pad, and installation options. Installation took two days, the installers were wonderful people. Family and I couldn't be happier. I'll certainly recommend Andy's to my friends.

Our job was replacing flooring on the top floor of a split level that included removing tile in the entry and kitchen. We knew our flooring under the carpet was subpar from the carpet install 24 years prior and we expressed this to the salesman from Andy's several times. He assured us they could fix it. The measure, product choices and quote all went smoothly and we had an install date set for 1 month out in October. We started moving furniture downstairs in preparation. The day before the product delivery the sales rep from Andy's told us that it had not arrived. We were given a new install date in November but when the date arrived, same story. Now our install date was early December. The Sales Rep from Andy's apologized and added free furniture move due to the delays so we left our 4 pieces of leather furniture upstairs. Again, no product and install was set for Monday after Christmas. The initial install attempts had been scheduled for a 4 day install but this one was only for 3 and during a holiday week. On day of install, crew didn't show up until after 10am and left about 5pm. The install crew was short one person and had forgotten the tool to remove tile. Someone delivered it several hours later. Removing the tile created tons of dust. None of our furniture, countertops or appliances were covered. The installer complained constantly about our floor level and that he didn't have enough time to do a good job although the crew were very seldom here for a full 8 hours. The 3rd day they left at 4pm as it was New Year's Eve. They had to come back New Year's Day to complete the install. Bottom line we are happy with the final product result. We don't know if the problems of material delivery were in fact the product company or Andy's incompetence. We will place the problems with install on Andy's as they did not give the installers adequate time to do a good job. Especially during a holiday week. We were left with a HUGE mess to clean up with tile dust thick on our furniture, walls, appliances, kitchen, etc. Our free furniture moving for compensation was not performed. We also had to have the installer come back later to clean up glue that was smeared on the new flooring. Although the Andy's rep was communicative and easy to reach, I would not recommend Andy's.

It was a stressful time for us but Modern Flooring really helped to take the pressure off, and we had a great experience with them from start to finish. I loved their helpful but no-pressure sales approach and their transparent pricing. They were always quick to get back to us when we emailed with questions. The project itself took several days and we really felt like they took the time to do everything right. We are very happy with the results. Thank you!

The LVP is lifting in areas because there are uneven surfaces. The LVP has lifted so much, that the boards are sharp where they have popped. I contacted Modern Flooring Services and they informed me that my warranty expired in February (2 months back) and that they won't be able to help me. This isn't a warranty issue, this is an installation issue. Don't use this company as they won't make good on their mistakes. They did offer to provide an estimate to repair the work, however. UMMM. No thank you.

When he came out for the estimate, he knew exactly where to get the material because he recognized it immediately. He took the time to match the pattern of the floor so it wouldn't look weird. Also, may I just say, he quelled my fears about hiring a contractor. He is the first contractor we have hired since buying the house and I was really preparing myself bc of all the horror stories you hear about. Greg is punctual, communicates effectively, works quickly and quietly, and cleans up his mess when he's done. All in all, I highly recommend Greg for your flooring needs. They worked with me to determine what I was looking for and what would work best in the space, and directed me to appropriate resources for fixtures. The staff and all of the workers who came to my home were friendly and professional, and consulted me all along the process when decisions needed to be made. The result is a beautiful new bathroom that I love. The one drawback was that it took months to complete: but a lot of the delays were in waiting for specific items needed to be shipped (e.g. the vanity arrived broken and we needed to wait for a new one). I am pleased to offer my recommendation for Heart Mountain Home.

Went here for flooring for stairs and bedrooms, I had purchased laminate flooring for downstairs…read moreonline thinking I was getting a good deal but the MDF backed flooring I got is crap, so I wanted to see what I was actually buying. I really wanted a bamboo based laminate but all of theirs were mdf backed so we just went with a regular plywood backed laminate. The one we chose was out of stock but due in so we went ahead and ordered it, came in pretty quick and so far the flooring I put on the stairs looks great, we have medium size dogs that run up and down stairs and it is holding up great, I will probably end up redoing the downstairs with flooring from these folks.

They were helpful in choosing a wood for our family and the installer was so efficient that we ended up taking a few boxes back to the store for a refund. They also refunded the labor portion of those boxes because they said "we didn't end up installing those boxes." While I'm sure extra boxes were ordered to be on the safe side, I was still pleasantly surprised at the extra refund. My floors have been in for over a month and I could not be happier. 12/17 update: I still love these floors! And my house renovation is ongoing. From time to time I'll stop in this store for a piece of transition or a small amount of flooring. They almost always remember who I am and are extremely helpful!
