"Fresh" meals like rice, chicken and lasagna are dried out, some of it being originally prepackaged factory food, presented here as a homemade meal. Employees are rude, act superior and simply do not know their place. They will lie in your face just because it's convenient to them. Not having a good day? Do not expect any understanding, all you will meet are angry tired eyes looking at you like they want you to disappear from the face of the earth. All food is unshielded from the environment. Employees ignore any and all hygiene rules. Last time I noticed several coughs and sneezes with little regards of where they were directed, barely trying to block them with their arms or hands. I've been coming here for decades. But a lot of these issues seem related to new staff members. This store used to be a decent place, but it seems the management simply does not care anymore. Just get some cigs, chips or a soda... nothing else.

Great late-night shop to get food or drinks when you are tired, hungry, and just want something…read morequick to eat before getting some sleep. I depended on this shop a lot during my last business trip to ams. Staff is friendly and patient with non-Dutch speakers.
