I came to her feeling like a shell of myself, not knowing what to do. From the beginning of working with her, she immediately made me feel safe, heard, and at peace. At times, I felt like my issues were too much, too much for her to even take in, but that anxiety completely went away with her comfort and understanding. Through her healing using brain integration, I have not only been able to cope with the recent traumatic events in my life, but also navigate through major depression and helplessness. Additionally, her healing sessions have had positive physical effects on my body - I no longer suffer from acid reflux and stomach ulcers, which I have had for over 25 years. I am currently in menopause and my joint pain symptoms have improved, and my insomnia has decreased. There aren't words that can express how thankful I am for her healing and care. Also, I live on the West Coast of the United States, so we work remotely. Energy healing works! Liz is proof.

She is very intuitive, and really knows her stuff. She is incredibly gentle and also very strong and not afraid to give you her perspective. She is the kind of person who makes you feel understood and who lets you be yourself. She celebrates who I am and who others are, and has a knack for empowering you to be fully yourself. She has a clear, kind way of seeing things and often sees things that I might miss. And she can give you this wisdom in a way that is respectful of your dignity. She has a stillness and peace about her that is very healing. She's very genuine and real. Since I started working with her I have been feeling much better emotionally, mentally, spiritually and physically. Her presence is loving and calm. She is a true healer, and I would recommend her to anyone and everyone seeking healing and well being. So grateful to her. Rabbi Shifra Freewoman

Honest review from a graduating High school senior:…read more This school isn't bad, but has a LOT of issues. Staff turnover has been seriously high ever since the pandemic. I believe the school is really prioritizing the managing of student social behavior and classes around those at the cost of really hiring effective teachers in sufficient roles to focus the students on academics and transitioning into the real world. As someone who is graduating senior year in a week, I find that a major fault of the school. It wasn't until recently where I realized I have forgotten a majority of basic Algebra 2 and did not learn enough of High school topics due to the lack of academic enforcement and general management by the higher-ups and admins. The diversity ratio is also disastrously low, and there is barely any diversity in the school, and they also would rather keep problematic, distracting students in the same classroom with high-attentive neurotypical students due to the school not knowing how to manage a situation that is their job to manage, and I believe it's very unprofessional. There were positives though, the staff are super friendly to get along with, they really become your friends in the school if you don't like the students, I also feel overtime I was given a good amount of emotional support to manage my anxiety, but when I got through that hurdle, I began to severely struggle academically, even though I had good grades in my classes. Overall, this school that has a lot of potential, but has gradually been going downward in the last few years since the pandemic, and if the turnover continues with the lack of heart & soul it used to have a few years ago, I fear this school will progressively get worse.

We've been at EFGB in Cambridge with our two children since September 2017. It's been a wonderful…read moreexperience. All the teachers are native French speaking and the children are completely immersed in French. They spend their days drawing, playing, singing, reading, and everything you would expect in a high quality preschool. The teachers are warm and engaged. There's a playground attached to the school and they go out every day, even in bad weather. It's been great to get involved with a Francophone community. The schedule is less convenient than a typical daycare for working parents (more like a school schedule, no food provided) but for us, the loss of convenience is more than made up for by the quality of the school and unique ability to have our children's early years be completely bilingual.

My son attended EFB in the 2021 school year. He had previously attended a French-language…read morepreschool in Lexington, but that school closed as a consequence of the pandemic. After a year of no school, my wife and I enrolled him at EFB, in the hope we could pick up where we had left off. Biggest mistake of my life - and one which had real consequences for my son. As far as I ever learned, his teacher, whom I had met previously when she worked with animals at Massachusetts Veterinary Referral Hospital in Woburn, had had no prior experience working with children. Her primary job qualification appeared to be that she was a native French speaker. She was extremely ill-equipped to work with young children, never mind a child such as my son who had been out of school for a year and who had spent that year largely secluded with his parents. And she was not alone: while there were a handful of people at the school who took their responsibilities seriously (I shall always be indebted in particular to Isabelle Ward), too many were unwilling, or unable, to respond to the singular demands of either that particular moment in history - the reopening of the world following a pandemic - or of their students. I was astounded, for example, during a video orientation with the school counselor prior to the start of the school year, that no thought had been given to how this rentrée, after the entire world had been closed for more than a year, was going to be different from any other. No thought was given to how to accommodate students whose whole worlds had been turned upside down when they were still learning to walk, and who were now trying to get their sea legs on a ship - the world! - still in the process of righting itself. When my son started to shut down in this environment of sheer thoughtlessness, he was treated as a problem, with little or no attempt to understand where he was coming from, or what the school should undertake to try to help him (again, there were one or two exceptions, including Isabelle Ward, whom I once again acknowledge and thank). At one point, his teacher noted, in a conference with my wife and me, that my son said he hated school, something that she seemed to think made him some kind of school shooter in the bud. Any time a "teacher" makes such a suggestion about a 4 (!) year old who weighed all of 40 lbs soaking wet, it says something about her and the school she represents, and nothing at all about the kid. To be fair: no one had any experience navigating a rentrée like 2021. Instead of recognizing this massively obvious fact, however, EFB just wanted to go on as if nothing had happened. I understand this desire; I even succumbed to it myself when I enrolled my son at EFB, as if it could be an adequate substitute for the school where he had thrived prior to the pandemic and which no longer existed. Succumbing to this desire, however, had real consequences for my son - consequences for which I hold myself responsible first of all, but also EFB, for its unwillingness or inability to adapt in the least way when those consequences began to emerge. My wife and I pulled my son out of EFB when we realized how harmful it was for him. But the months he spent there left scars that will last a lifetime. I have waited 5 years to write this review, and do so now only because my son disclosed last night, for the first time, how harshly he was once disparaged at EFB for taking an empty toilet paper roll out of the bathroom. Suddenly, I understood something that had happened at EFB and had hitherto been a mystery: my son, who has been toilet trained since the age of 2, suddenly stopped using the bathroom at EFB, to the point of repeatedly peeing his pants at school, at the end of the day when he could no longer hold it in anymore. I had never understood why - until he recounted this story. I can't think of a more damning anecdote about this school.

The testing itself, once you get it, appears to be done well, with competent and friendly doctors and the suggestions that result can be helpful. However, if you have any kind of unique situation, either in the symptomatology of your child, or if the parents disagree about the causes or presentation of the issues present, their approach and systems here are utterly incapable, by design, to handle that. They struggled to handle our bespoke situation and the outcomes of that were harmful for my child. These issues were also frustrating, caused extra costs, and ultimately required external intervention to get the very basic testing required for things beyond the academic testing which was all they initially sought to do. I wish to also second the review that found their billing practices questionable. I strongly disliked dealing with this organization and found the outcomes sub-optimal, more expensive with insurance coverage than simply going to an out-of-network provider would have been and required immense efforts to get issues resolved, some of which never were and that led to further conflict and harm for my child. It felt like my observations or issues were either ignored or disregarded. I regret using this organization.

However, calling it…read more"a top university with a significant merit scholarship" is an obvious attempt to inflate the outcome. A $10,000 merit award is fairly common among Lexington High School seniors. Our son's dream school was Babson College, and that was the goal we worked toward for years. After several years of working with Livius, his final SAT score was 1350. That is not a terrible score, but it is not impressive in Lexington, especially among Asian students. We ultimately sought additional support elsewhere. It is inappropriate to now imply that the entire result is solely your achievement. The core issue remains the sales process. We were strongly persuaded to purchase a large prepaid package, and were told at the time that it might even be insufficient for what our son would need. Based on that representation, we signed the so-called "non-refundable" agreement. After years of services, we still have more than 10 unused hours left. That alone speaks for itself. When we recently inquired about the remaining balance, the response was dismissive and focused only on the contract clause, without any acknowledgment of the inaccurate projections used to sell the package. Repeating "you signed a contract" while ignoring the context is not customer care -- it is deflection. Using ambiguous language to magnify results and take credit, while dismissing legitimate concerns about unused prepaid services, reflects poorly on a company that charges premium prices. We stand by our review.
