As a long-time medical provider, I never thought I'd be pursuing legal action against another medical professional. However, due to complications from cataract surgeries performed by a W.H. ophthalmologist, I was no longer able to work in my profession. I could no longer read nor work at a computer for longer than 15 minutes at one time. After my 2nd surgery, I could not even read the Big E on the eye chart! I required emergency surgery the next day with a different eye surgeon, at a different facility. I called the law firm of RisCassi & Davis in Dec. 2023, hearing about them from their t.v. & radio commercials promising their full faith effort to achieve justice for their clients. I was assigned to Attorney Iannaconne. He told me these types of cases are difficult but he thought he could help me. I was told we'd need to work quickly because the statute of limitations was approaching. The plan was for him to speak with my current eye doctor & get back to me. Two weeks later I had not heard back from Atty. Iannaconne. I called him and learned that he hadn't yet spoken with my eye doctor but was going to call her the following week & get back to me with his thoughts on my case. Two more weeks went by & no call from Atty. Iannaconne. I called his office and left a message on his VM. No return call. A week later I called again & spoke with his assistant who stated she would sent him an email and have him get back to me later that Friday. No return call. The following week I spoke with his assistant who stated he was in a meeting but she was going to transfer my call. She must have forgotten to put me on hold because I could hear him yell from another room, "Get her phone number & tell her I'll call her back." I didn't hear back from Attorney Iannaccone that day, the following week, or ever again. I realized at this point that he had no intention of calling me back. What is most upsetting to me about his actions was that if he did not want to take on my case, he could have just told me so from the beginning or any point along the way. Then I would have been able to seek out the assistance of someone else who might be willing and able to help me. Instead, he chose not to help me and to cause me not to be able to receive help from anyone else because he had run out the clock with respect to the statute of limitations. I have to wonder if someone in the RisCassi & Davis law firm wasn't protecting this ophthalmolo- gist, at my expense. My advice to anyone who is reading this review would be, if you are an elderly female or a medical provider who has been injured or wronged by a medical professional, find another law firm - one where you will be treated with empathy, courtesy, and respect at a minimum. I would definitely NOT recommend the RisCassi & Davis Law Firm to anyone who needs legal assistance.

The examining attorney was citing irrelevant examples and throwing ridiculous objections at my application until Gene stepped in on my behalf. He helped me navigate the red tape, and finally found a solution that the examining attorney would accept and thus my mark was allowed to be registered. If someone accuse you of something, you have a legal right to know what those accusations are but it seems that he thinks differently. They tricked me and disrespected me. They waited till 5 minutes before closing on a Friday to tell me, so if I wanted the house that weekend I had no choice. When I complained I was told I should have read the contract. I thought my lawyer was supposed to be on my side! Secondly, the entire project of selling and buying both houses was my and only my project. Although my husband and FIL were there, that was just to sign things. The older male lawyer asked a question and as I tried to respond he told me to hush. I was traumatized so I did what I was told. Every question he asked my husband, my husband had to get the answer from me. Third, although I was on an extreme time crunch, they barely tried to get ahold of the other lawyer. I had to pay a month hotel bill for my in-laws as well as a month of maintenance and rent for the place I was buying Long and short they are unprofessional and do not care about their clients.
