I would not buy a vehicle from Edwards. Motors, keep Chrysler in council blocks. They sold me this Jeep. The brakes are squealing and grinding. It feels like the transmissions going out of it, but that's just normal. That's normal for that Jeep, to sound like that. They will not repair it. They will not let me create it back in. It's their way of passing off their lemons. I'll do the unsuspecting customers. Zero Stars deserved. RUDE, unprofessional, condescending staff at all levels. Finance is knowingly filling out State Sales Tax paperwork incorrectly and refused to correct their error. Every call I made to ask for corrected paperwork was met with condescension and arrogance. Several employees admitted to knowing they are charging customers extra fees for new tires they aren't getting with used vehicles. No one cares. I was promised a check to reimburse my fees. That never came. When I stopped in to ask about the check Josh Mitchell nor David Jones could be bothered by me. They sent a finance employee out with a $5 bill to set in front of me. If I could give no stars I would. NEVER GO HERE! I took my 2015 eco diesel in. And they butchered my paint job on the front bumper from climbing in the engine. They tried to tell me over and over that I needed a battery replacement, wanted $600 for a battery. I brought them a battery and my truck still didn't start, took it to another shop to give a comprehensive look over, they said it was the HPFP, which was under recall. Sent the truck back to Edwards, who lost the truck on lot, have a voicemail to prove it, then when they finally did find and look at it, didn't handle the recall, and test drove it AND SENT ME HOME WITH NOOOOO COOLANT AND NOOOOO OIL! There were several wires left hanging! my truck broke down on the way home! They refuse to pay for any of the damages and say they are not liable, they told me the shop that did the comprehensive look was at fault! Why! You were supposed to fix the recall which would require to take apart the engine and put everything back!!!??? And didn't do any of it! They also told me they felt like I wouldn't pay them. What kind of business is run like that? I shouldn't have to pay when you mess up???? I would pay if it was a regular fix. I don't trust them. Take the extra time to take your car to Blair. This companies' customer service is horrible. I took my Dart in to have a oil leak fixed. After being in and out of the shop 3 times (all fixed under warranty) Edward's service team told me there was another repair. The result from them stating they ran the car for 10 minutes no oil leaks, but the next morning a massive puddle of oil and an additional $660 they refused to refund. Had an absolute terrible experience with them. I have spent thousands of dollars doing business with Edwards and they lost me as a customer for life. Oh, also took them over three (3) weeks to inform me that they refuse to refund the oil leak issue they couldn't fix. In the attempt to replace my car, I also told Edwards Chevy I would pay cash for a new vehicle if Edwards Dodge service would make me whole for the $660. I found out 2 weeks later my jeep was not a 4x4 and I called Edwards they told me that I could come in and get a awd vehicle. I went in and it was a very rude man named Kiko he told me I had to find a vehicle that was only priced at 4000. But originally the vehicle I purchased had a 6000 dollar price tag they dropped it down because I payed cash. so I went there to switch my vehicle out there was no 4000 awd or 4x4 vehicles I asked if I could have my money back they told no because I bought it on the 6th and it wasn't in the 30 day window I said no I bought it on the 13th but then it was still no there not giving me my money back which they lied again. Then Kiko prefers to tell me they tryed to help and they couldn't help me goodbye. So there was no 4x4 or awd vehicles priced at 4000 and they were t giving me my money back so they knew that when they told me to come in and they would swap my vehicle out. I had my car fixed and a week later my car was not running properly. Recently I came to pick up a radio for order that I PREPAID for and in response they informed me that they "forgot" to add taxes when I placed my order and I'd need to pay that or have to pay an additional $1,500 plus the taxes they "forgot" to include if I wanted to take the radio I ordered to be installed elsewhere. My husband and I have prepaid oil changes and tire rotations, so I took my car in Saturday morning 12/30/23 for service to be done. Warren, the service writer, let my husband know that they close at 1pm but he would leave the keys at the receptionist desk because I couldn't pick it up before then. When I came into the office about 3:30pm, the receptionist was extremely unwelcoming from the moment I walked in. I told her I was in to pick up my keys and she was just very blunt and persistent about how much she couldn't help me and there was nothing they could do to give me my keys since they did not leave them at the front with her. Apparently, they have no key or way to get into the service department since it was closed and locked. As a customer service worker myself, dressed in customer service attire, I found it extremely upsetting that she couldn't be more considerate and maybe have said "I'm so sorry for the mix up but the keys were not left with me, let me see if I could get someone to get a hold of Warren" or basically any other way of showing empathy for someone who was just about to be without a car for a long weekend. She did not once try to reach out to someone else for help. Upset and with my kids waiting in another vehicle, I told my husband everything she was telling me. He used to work as a technician for a dealership, so he was immediately annoyed and knew she was just being rude and unhelpful. Somehow a miracle happened, and the door got unlocked and they were able to give us the keys! I feel if she would have just tried to be a little more helpful, she would have saved a lot of frustration. I was not rude to her once so there was really no exception for her to be so unhelpful and rude. When I was calling my husband in front of her, I told him "she's just going to tell you the same thing she's telling me," She sat there shaking her head up and down basically saying "yup!!". Luckily, the sales manager helped us to get our keys. I will say we are never coming back here for servicing. To top it ALL off, when I drove off, my car air vents started blowing out smoke from and it smelled like fumes. When I parked, I popped the hood and found a dirty rag and everything was messy with fluids spilled all over. Overall, we are completely dissatisfied with all areas of service from this dealership. Only somewhat helpful person was the sales manager. Good looking out on your end! They sold me a "clean" Challenger in 2021. I filed an insurance claim recently and it turns out it was in a collision and it had another claim for vandalism before I bought it. Edwards in village pointe has about the worst communication I have ever seen. I will go days or for one particular person a week without a call back. I leased a car and they ended up upping the price by 6/7 thousand dollars more than the sticker price on the window. The extra options on the car were supposedly on a sheet that was not put up in the window. Come to find out the extra price was a protective shield spray but I was told it was already on the car. I didn't have a choice to get it or not. So it should have been part of the price on the car window and not sneaked into the price without me knowing. Very disappointed with the employees. I purchased a 2020 Certified Pre-Owned Jeep Renegade Trailhawk on 3/8/2024. It took me a little while to find what I was looking for. My previous Renegade had been totaled in an accident in January, and I was looking for something as close as possible to it. I met Loyal Beecher who showed me a few Renegades in February but they just weren't quite what I was looking for. I asked him to keep his eye out as my insurance check would be coming in within the next week or so. Sure enough, once it did, he had a 2020 Jeep Renegade Trailhawk with mileage and features I was looking for. I came in the next day to take it for a test drive. We agreed on a price that I was willing to pay. They had just implemented new terms to their certified pre-owned warranty program. A couple of issues I noticed once I left the lot: my windshield had three significant chips in it. My driver's window caught when rolling down. I mentioned these issues to Loyal and the GM. Edwards really made good on their service and commitment to their buyers. They replaced my windshield and fixed my window issue. They also detailed my car. Their service department is top notch! The Courtesy van drivers are so polite and prompt. It's so convenient to drop my car off for the day. I just overall had such a good buying experience with Edwards thanks to Loyal, and Edwards has really taken care of me with this new Renegade and my last! read more

I purchased a Tahoe and I received the warranties for the vehicle the keyless entry and the wheel and tires. First I was charged for two exact warranties which the Finance guy named Vincent told me they were completely different and that one of them was a courtesy for the first ninety days. When I inquired about the wheel and tire warranty I was informed that they fix the scratches and dents if they cant repair then they replace. When I submitted a claim I was denied stating the damage was existing. During the time of the sale I was informed that pre-existing damage was covered and this is why I purchased the warranty. When I contacted Vincent he was short and Kurt with mew and told me the best he could do was refund me the cost of the warranty back to the bank at a prorated price. Their practices are shady and are a perfect example as to why people dislike the car purchasing experience. I was very disappointed and will not refer any of my friends and family to them. read more

Before posting this message, I emailed the store and called the store several times this last week. I even left a message over a week ago for the manager over the finance department to contact me. This still has not happened yet and as of over a month ago none of my calls have been returned. I'm extremely disappointed and upset with the 178th and Dodge Baxter store. I purchased a 2018 Jeep Wrangler from this dealership in March of this year. The sales people seem to be really sincere and caring at least until I bought the Jeep. I was talked into buying the extended warranty by Carl Irwin a financing person. I was riding the fence the price was initially $3,000 I told him that was okay since the vehicle had a 10-year warranty. Being this was the last day of their sales quarter to reach their sales goal Mr. Irwin kept going on, and on and ultimately knocked the warranty down to $1,894 talking me into buying the warranty. Mr. Irwin then told me that if I changed my mind that all I had to do was contact him and it wouldn't be a problem later to cancel the warranty. I ended up leaving the dealership around 9pm after spending several hours in the store that day. After talking it over with my wife and a buddy who is a car salesman at a nearby car dealership I decided to cancel the warranty because of the 10-year warranty already on the Jeep. At 8am the very next morning I called Mr. Irwin and advised him that I wanted to cancel the warranty. Mr. Irwin advised me at this time that the paperwork had already been processed, but it wouldn't be a problem. Mr. Irwin told me to allow 4 to 6 weeks before the check would be issue to the police credit union and the credit would be applied to the overall loan and it could be refinanced. I waited one month and never heard anything back about the status. I contacted police credit union and they told me nothing had ever been sent to them. I was also told that this would affect the overall price I had to pay for my license plates and taxes. Ultimately, I made contact with Mr. Irwin after several times calling him. Mr. Irwin issued me a new bill of sale stating the lower price for vehicle registration purposes, but I still was not issued a refund for the $1,894. Since April I have made multiple calls to Mr. Irwin and some of the telephone calls have been returned and other not returned. My last contact with Mr. Irwin was approximately 6 weeks ago. Mr. Irwin told me he didn't know what the holdup was and that he would see what he could do about having a check issued to me directly because of all of the hassle. Mr. I never heard back from Mr. Irwin and Mr. Irwin has not returned any of my calls over the last 6 or 7 weeks now. I called to talk to the department manager over a week ago and no one has returned my telephone call. At this point it seems as if the dealership has walked off with $1,894. I would like my refund. I bought the vehicle in good faith and as a consumer I expect to be treated fairly. At this point I do not feel your staff has acted in good faith. This has been extremely frustrating and has given me a negative view of your entire organization. Is this how you treat all of your customers? Please do the right thing and fulfill your obligation. I was buying my first car and found one I really liked at Baxter. My salesman Tim did a great job of working with me despite my being low-balled on my trade-in offer compared to other dealerships. Tim really was great and Helped me through the process and even cleaned up the car I bought for me and helped transfer over my things from old to new car. A few days later my insurance wanted my loan servicer information and I called my finance manager 3 times in 2 weeks and never received a return call until I complained when provided the opportunity for feedback. Fast forward 3 weeks since my purchase and I have not been called to sign the title to my trade-in, nor have I been provided with anything to register my car. I am absolutely livid as I write this. I made an appointment on Monday(6/4) or Tuesday for some maintenance repairs to my car. The person I spoke to to schedule the appointment was very pleasant and checked on the pricing and such for me ahead of my appointment. I then received two emails and a text throughout the week confirming my appointment. Overall, a great experience. I was planning to have all my future work done with this organization and even tell a few of my friends with Jeeps how great my experience was. However, when I arrived today, I was met with a very condescending service person named Christopher Dennis. He promptly asked me to explain (again) why I was bringing my car in. Mr. Dennis then proceeded to tell me why the repairs couldn't happen and how my car mechanic brother's assessment of what needed to happen was wrong and how my estimate from the scheduling department was way off. I asked him to please let me speak to someone else as I was instantly put off by his misogynistic attitude. I then waited approximately 10 minutes to speak to someone else, explaining the situation 2 more times before I was told that none of the parts were ordered ahead of my appointment that was scheduled close to a week ago. I had taken time off of work to bring my car in today (6/9.) I had arranged for rides to and from TWICE to make sure this could be done today without inconveniencing THEIR staff and while being respectful of THEIR hours of operation. I am beyond upset, disappointed, and angry. After this repair is done, I will NEVER bring my business to this business again. My boyfriend had his alternator replaced by Baxter. About 9 months later, the alternator Went out again. I wish that was our only complaint. They charged him over a thousand dollars for work he didn't need because the couldn't figure out what was wrong and just kept guessing at different things. Took my 2014 Ram in for broken exhaust manifold bolts, common problem. I was informed that the bolts on both sides were broken and needed fixed. I did some research on the hemi cold start tick and after looking at dozens of videos and google searches the cause of the broken bolts are due to warped exhaust manifolds bending and braking the bolts. When I picked the vehicle up I asked if they replaced the manifolds and I was told no. I asked why, and was informed that they have never done that. I said, so you only partially fix the issue. I asked why the bolts break then and was told that the bolts come pre-stretched. What?! I'll tell you what. If Baxter is the only Chrysler dealership available for me to take my truck to for issues, I'll get rid of the truck first and will never purchase another Chrysler product. read more

I came in on a Saturday afternoon to purchase a vehicle. There were maybe 4 other customers and most of the sales people were standing in the front of the store watching a football game and yelling at the TV. The salesperson who helped me was helpful but after I told them that I would pay for the car in full and not finance with them they were unbelievably rude and were not in any hurry to help me with my purchase. Then I had to wait an hour for a lady to come over to ask if I wanted any add-ons for my car. The lady was very unprofessional when she was asking me questions, she was sitting criss cross in a chair picking/chewing her nails, then she was mad because I didn't want to purchase any add-ons. Then I had to wait another hour to meet with Carl to finally purchase my vehicle. He was very rude and did not even interact with me, or answer my questions, other than to say "sign here." Finally, I never got the title for my new vehicle from them until I was 6 days away from the expiration date on my in-transit papers. I called to ask about the title 2 weeks after I bought my car and I left message but no one ever called me back. When I finally called the individual who answered, she told me that my title paperwork had been done for awhile but they didn't know if I wanted to pick it up or for her to mail it. I don't understand why they didn't call me to ask. I will never buy another car from this dealership. Very disappointed in the customer service and the unprofessional staff. Surprisingly the only good part about this dealership was my salesperson Spencer. He found a great match for me with my Jeep Grand Cherokee. This is where my satisfaction ends. The Finance and Aftermarket departments are very disappointing. To start, the finance department couldn't get linked up with US Bank so I had to pay via credit card, which is fine. This happened for a couple more months so I paid ahead two months (per the request of the finance manager). So I was paid up two months. A month comes and goes and I still have no received a statement from US Bank so I verify they are still behind and I am paid up. Great right? Turns out my account got activated (so I could pay my bill) and US Bank refused Baxter's CC payment. Little did I know I was written a check for the second month payment that was rejected. Long story short, I missed a payment because Baxter didn't care to call letting me know they payment was rejected. Aftermarket department: I got a hitch installed through the dealer. It was $600 bucks which is fine. I asked how much the wiring harness would be and they said around $30 or so. I decide to wait on the wiring harness. I got back to get the harness installed a couple months later and they told me it was another $600 bucks which is outrageous. Regardless, they went back on their word and I don't have a wiring harness. When my lease is up I'll be going anywhere than Baxter. read more

Veterans beware, this is the most difficult and dishonest car dealer I have worked with in 52 years. The sales person who helped me with the purchase of a 2021 Audi Q7 was Wyatt Renolds. I live three hundred miles from the dealer and they agreed to have it delivered. One of the questions I asked was about the condition of the tires (I knew they would be expensive to replace) he told me they had been replaced and should have several thousand miles left on them. The back tires had some tread left on them; but the front tires were riding in the wear bars. They were the original tires. After taking possesion of the car we noticed that the inside panel on the back left door was coming off. That will cost me $1750.00 to replace, the driver who delivered the car took pictures and told me they would take care of it for me. I haved called several times in the past 3 weeks, they have never returned any of my calls. The last time I talked with Wyatt he told me my Yukon had a scratch on the bumber that they would have to paint. There was no scratch on the bumber when the driver took possesion of it. If you are a Veteran like me or care about Veterans I hope you will stay away from this dealer. read more

Had my oil changed at the dealership where I bought my truck. Baxter Dodge. I asked them 4 (four times) to assess the slow leak on my right rear tire. They found many other expensive things to be replaced and charge me an extra 20 bucks for tire rotation. They were on transmit and not receive. They did not look at the tire, nor rotate them. I STILL have a right rear passenger tire with a slow leak just like when I went in. They are thieves. 177th and Dodge. Thieves. I am a home health R.N. who is traveling on a bum tire. I recently purchased a used van once owned by Baxter and used to run parts. I take meticulous care of my vehicles and to help me do so, I phoned Baxter and asked for information on the service history of my van so I could put together a maintenance schedule. "We don't release this information" was the reply I received, so I have no service history, and I'll need to essentially start from scratch maintaining this vehicle. Baxter could have saved me a lot of time and money. Auto dealerships wish they weren't viewed as sleazy businesses, but this type of behavior only reinforces this image. read more
