Dr. Etcheson did too and he's also conservation with treatment, which I'm completely in agreement with. They prescribed "as needed" medication in case my issue progressed over the weekend yet made he made it clear he could be contacted anytime. On my next visit appointment card, his cell number was included. Not that I want to visit him often, but it's the #1 place to go to any endodontic work!! read more

Dr. Etcheson did not arrive for my 7am appointment. An office person arrived and unlocked the door at 7am to let me in. I was taken to the dental chair & bib was put on and I waited. And waited. Only the one office employee and I, were there. Around 7:20am, I asked if the dentist was even in the building? No, he was not. The employee said, 'they have grandkids they help with sometimes...' I explained I would leave at 7:30am if Dr. Etcheson still had not arrived. He still had not even arrived by 7:30am. I drove an hour to the appointment to arrive on time and missed work. As I was driving back around 7:40am, the employee called & left a voicemail saying, Dr. Etcheson was there now if I wanted to come back, and that he'd just been 'a little late!' Dr. Etcheson did not get himself up and to work on time, although I drove an hour each way, only to sit there for his no-show. Even worse, he did not call himself to apologize for such poor, unprofessional behavior! Really Poor!! read more

They scheduled me for outside of business hours. Who does that? They called me the day before my followup procedure to notify me of this. I tried to reschedule but was told I would be put on a call list. I had tried this with them before. They had an appnt for the 24th of that month, but said I would get in faster waiting for a cancellation. So they declined to set up an appnt and put me on the call list. After 2 weeks with no call I called again and they had an appnt that had opened for the 19th. No one called to say there was a cancellation, had I not taken things into my own hands who knows when I would have been scheduled. I FINALLY get scheduled for my follow up procedure only to be told the day before that they 'accidentally' scheduled me outside of business hours. She said their hours had changed. Well, if that's the case why didn't they call me when the hours changed to get me rescheduled? I've been without a front tooth for 6 weeks waiting on this root canal and now I have wait an additional 6 weeks bc they don't know how scheduling/business hours work. On top of that, his bedside manner was appalling. Towards the end of my procedure my anestheic wore off and I cried out when he touched a nerve. He chastized me for crying out. When I explained I was no longer numb I was met with cold, blank stares. If you value your oral health and time, don't waste it on this provider. read more

Recently had a consultation because of an unbelievable pain in my molar and was totally impressed with the quality of care and kindness I received from Dr Etcheson and his staff. I was referred by my Dentist, where he and his staff spoke in high regards of Dr Etcheson's reputation in the field of Endodontics. I subsequently received a root canal procedure by Dr Etcheson, where I was able to pass the time with relaxing music and watching my HGTV favorite Chip and Joanna Gains! I went home after the procedure and was amazed that there was no pain or discomfort once the numbing medicine wore off. The next day I woke up with NO effects of the root canal! Dr Etcheson's kind staff also called the next day to follow up on how I was feeling. I'm so happy with my experience and would highly recommend Dr Etcheson and his staff to take away that pain or discomfort if you need it. Glad I did!! read more

I have a real phobia of dentists and anything that has to do with dental procedures. Like, racing heart, heavy chest, on the verge of tears. I had severe tooth pain and had to get a root canal. Right off the bat Dr. Etcheson and his staff were phenomenal! They were aware of my anxiety, were so kind and explained everything in detail multiple times. The procedure was quick and they worked hard to create a light atmosphere. Music was playing, HGTV was on and the entire staff engaged in light conversation and fun banter through the entire procedure. They made it really easy to focus on the conversation instead of my anxiety. I would recommend Dr Etcheson to anyone! read more

Was referred here by my dentist. Called early in the morning to make an appointment for a broken infected tooth. They got me in same day at 2:00 for an evaluation. I was pretty happy about that service; anticipated up to a month. I arrived at 1:35. As I told Anna, the receptionist, being new, I knew I'd have to fill out a lot of paperwork. *** Important Note *** The urgency of my appointment is because I have a shunt in my head. Oral infections are a huge risk to brain infections. And the doctor KNEW this is why I was there. He put my life at risk. I arrived, completed the paperwork in less than ten minutes, then proceeded to read headlines on my phone app. I sat quietly in the waiting room for a half hour. I was the next person who'd come in, then a second lady and eventually a third lady. The third lady arrived at about 1:55 and was called back at 2. I figured 'no biggie, she probably has a two o'clock appointment, too.' Time goes by. At about 2:05, the receptionist pops up and says they're running a bit late. I smiled and said okay. About two minutes later, 2:07, Dr. Etcheson came around the corner and advised he was running late. He did not identify himself as the doctor, he simply said 'we're running late.' I answered, 'my appointment was at 2.' I wasn't being provocative; rather stating a fact. He snapped at me, 'this isn't fast food.' Now being a woman who has faced enough bullies in life, I stood up for myself. I looked him in the eye and replied, 'I never implied it is "fast food".' Again, stating a fact. Dr. Etcheson then stated, 'We got you in today.' I said, 'I appreciate that, but if you couldn't see me until 2:30...' Because there is nothing worse than a Doctor "squeezeeing you in" only to have piss-poor time management and then vilifying you, the patient. He then said, 'Maybe you should make another appointment with another doctor.' I clarified, 'Are you telling me you do not want my business or my money?' He paused momentarily and said, 'Yes, that is what I'm telling you.' I collected my forms from the receptionist, Anna, who apologized to me as I left. Note: When I got home I called the office to get the name of the employee with the horrible customer service. That's when I learned it was Dr. Etcheson himself. Anna apologized again on the phone. She seems like a very professional young lady. Dr. Etcheson should take note. read more

Dr Etchison is a wonderful doctor. I was in A LOT of pain and couldn't get in anywhere for months! He squeezed me in and took care of the problem and the pain. He was very attentive to my pain and comfort. I would recommend him to anyone! read more

I'd never had a root canal before, so I didn't know what to expect. Right from the beginning (my consultation) I was put at ease by the receptionists and assistants. They were very warm and friendly, and I enjoyed chatting with them. They were knowledgable and made sure I was comfortable at all times. The root canal procedure today was completely painless. I would recommend it to anyone! Anyone in need of one, of course. Dr. Etcheson was very kind and made certain to inform me of what was happening so I wouldn't be thrown off-guard by anything. 12 hours later and I haven't even needed to take Ibuprofen. I would definitely revisit this place in a heartbeat (though hopefully I'll never need to again!). read more

Very frustrated with this Endodontists & office-We gave the office staff all of our insurance information & were quoted a price for a root canal over the phone for $750 after my insurance. When we went for his evaluation appointment , the price of the root canal increased $350 more than the quoted price. So after his appointment I called the office about the price increase and the office response was" this is what we charge when patients have Cigna insurance & it is a standard contract with Cigna." Sounds like a " Bait & switch ". So patients beware- if they tell you a price over the phone don't count on it! read more
