Pretty good. After a rough weekend of "Roughing It" at the Petaluma KOA and having to endured nature's ferocious rain, sipping on local breweries in the hot tub; this place was a treat. Staff was nice. They must have been racist. They had a table for us right away. This place usually have a wait (according to all the reviews). They must not want a group of "Way Far Eastsiders" standing by their entrance, LOL. The line staff had skills of a surgeon. Egg sandwiches was cook with precision. And the "Crispy Potatoes Thing", Wow. They tasted like eating raw Spanish saffron, but an Idaho version. I would highly recommended this place. Came to Petaluma for a flower foraging experience and my BF wanted to come to Eggspresso for some breakfast beforehand. The interior is very cute and modern, and we were seated immediately upon entering. I ordered the Caprese sandwich and hot chocolate and my bf got the ham, egg, and swiss sandwich with an espresso. We both enjoyed our sandwiches and were very stuffed since we don't usually eat breakfast. I took bites of his sandwich in between mine and so did he because we liked the contrast between the two hot and cold sandwiches. Ahh yessss. Nothing beats a solid breakfast sandwich! Just found this place recently on yelps explore page and I had to check it out. For any LA folks or even Vegas nowadays, you may be familiar with a spot called Eggslut. This joint is veryyy similar in a lot of ways, (similar dishes, familiar logo). I used to frequent Eggslut back when I was living in LA, but this breakfast egg sandwich that I ordered at Eggspresso was pretttttty darn close. I ordered the Petaluma and my dude order the bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwiches which both came with a side of potatoes. My Petaluma was freaking delicious. Soft egg, soft brioche bun, all warm and ooey- gooey cheesy! I was in breakfast heaven. My dude enjoyed his sandwich as well. We also ordered the avocado toast which was ok. It was more of an egg toast with a couple slices of avocado underneath. Just wasn't the most exciting. The toast also came with a small side arugula salad. Overall, we realllly dug their breakfast sandwiches, which is enough to keep me coming back. I definitely look forward to trying more menu items. read more

This is a great place for breakfast sandwiches. It's unique and truly one of a kind. It does remind me slightly of Eggslut in LA with its craft and style. I enjoyed their bacon and egg breakfast sandwich. My wife like their avocado toast as well and it's sweetness form the balsamic. Surprisingly, our order did take a while but maybe because they had to go orders? For something simple ish, our items took a bit long. My egg was runny which was great! We thought their kouign amann wasn't all that; more like a croissant with jam really. I recommend this spot for early morning grab and go's and trying their fresh OJ! What a wonderful spot in Petaluma for some great breakfast. Me and my sister in law were in town and had to try this place out. I order the Petaluma egg sandwich and a mocha iced coffee. You can also customize the sandwich, my sister in law added avocado. The sandwich comes with crisp yummy "French fries". The mocha iced coffee was good, you could taste the coffee and it wasn't too sweet. I also love that they had patio seating as well as indoor seating. read more

Simply delicious. May be the new breakfast spot for winter! I absolutely love scrambled egg sandos and the Petaluma breakfast Sando is fantastic! Hot scrambled egg, herbs, cheese and added avocado with some sriracha aioli! Can't go wrong there. The brioche they use is soo freaking buttery and delicious. My bf got the short rib Sando, the short rib had a ton of flavor and wasn't overly gristly. Their potatoes are perfect, piping hot and perfectly crisp! Their drinks are amazing! The fresh squeezed OJ is thirst quenching! Get the iced mocha! Honestly the best mocha I've ever had. Not too sweet and the chocolate sauce tastes homemade/high quality. The kouign amann pastry was also one of the best I've ever had!! The almond paste and nectarine jam was such a pleasant surprise. Went in today for some breakfast. This was our 3rd visit. Previous visits were great (no issues) Today was a different story. Waited 10 minutes for 2 coffee drinks and for someone to take our order. After our order, we waited 22 min until I finally gave up and asked about our food. One employee said "you have not gotten your food yet?" I told the person we ordered from I would like the check because I was tired of waiting for our food. Her response "ok". No apologies, no comments, nothing. Today I finally got to try this new breaky sandwich spot & Im very happy I did! I ordered the #1 sandwich which is bacon, egg & cheese on brioche & I added some avocados to it. I also ordered an iced latte for my drink and brought the total to like 17$. You also get a side of potatoes with your sandwich which is pretty decent for the price you pay. Sandwich is on the smaller side but very tasty with their chipotle ketchup & very well made. I enjoyed every single bite. This spot is where the old Acres coffee used to be infront of Traders Joes so you get plenty of parking and they have indoor & outdoor seats for you. Cant wait to come in for more yummies. ***couple days later I tried their candied bacon & OH MY GOD! That is now my new fave Item on their menu! I was looking forward to eating here after reading all the great reviews. Unfortunately we had pretty terrible service. We waited for almost 30 min for a table. The host took my phone number and told me to wait for a text. She said it wouldn't be more than 15 min. After 25 min, I noticed other parties who arrived after us were being seated before us. When I told her that, she seated us right away. It seems like they don't use their own text message waitlist system. After we ordered our food, we waited another 30 minutes. The tables seated after us even got their food before us. The restaurant itself wasn't even that busy looking so not sure what was going on. The sandwiches were ok. Like all the restaurants (Daphne's, Acre, Sketchers) at this location, Eggspresso has the right formula for great breakfast items, plus having really good coffee. I understand the coffee is Acre coffee. The premises are immaculate, nicely arranged, The folks working are under COVID rules now but are cheery and helpful. Parking is easy peasy. Prices are reasonable. It is Very convenient to drop in to Eggspresso for a lunch, as there are many retailers in the area. We ate in their really cute enclosed patio. The weather cooperated. It's taken awhile to write this review, but I have been here about 5 times now and the food and service have been consistently good on all visits. They have a good amount of seating (mostly booths which is great) staff is very friendly and welcoming. Food is on the expensive side, but it's pretty good and the service is good, so I don't really think about it. The egg sandwiches and potatoes are quite good and the blood orange mimosa's are great! I find 9:30 to 10:30 is the best time to go and has never been overly crowded. read more

Great egg sandwiches! I got the bacon egg and cheese sandwich which was great. The brioche bun is light and delicious, and the egg was cooked perfectly. The side of potatoes was not your traditional side of potatoes, but they were thin,crispy and perfectly salted. My boyfriend got the Petaluma and added sausage - he definitely picked the right dish. The scrambled eggs and chives were really tasty. If I went back, I would get this solely because that egg and chives were really good. We sat out in the patio yesterday which was so nice in the sun. Everybody has to come here!! I got the #1 bacon sandwich on brioche with avocado and it was just divine. As I was waiting for my order, I saw this coffee on the counter and it looked so fancy and good so I went back and ordered an iced mocha and that was BOMB af I'm so glad I did it, my bf took a sip and asked my why I didn't get the bigger one (I did) I don't usually like mochas but this was top notch. I'm a Sbux iced coffee 1 pump sweetener hardly any half and half, have been since the early 2000's and THIS was g-damn fantastic. Order one, seriously. The bacon on my sandwich was nice and crisp, brioche bread soft with crunchy edges, the egg was *perfect* and the way they served it you could see the soft yolk glistening like a glorious piece of golden deliciousness but it wasn't messy it was just enough yolk you'd never even notice if they didn't cut it in half. For $9+$2 avocado and a decent amount of it, plus an included side of crispy potatoes with what I believe to be old bay seasoning (and $5.50 for the large mocha) I was a pretty happy camper! read more
