5/5 wow this place seriously impressed us! I ordered the crab cake Benedict with crispy potatoes. The crab cake actually tasted like crab (not filler), perfectly poached eggs, and the crispy potatoes could not have been better. My kid ordered the French toast, and didn't use any syrup (she normally drenches everything!) It was naturally sweet and flavorful all on its own. She finished the entire plate with sausage and potatoes. We ordered two glasses of fresh-squeezed oj, and it was legit fresh and very reasonably priced - so many places overcharge for fresh squeezed juice and this place has much better quality for way less dollars. The service was excellent - multiple check ins without hovering. The staff really paid attention, and the patio seating was perfect, they set up the umbrella for us, and it was quiet and peaceful - a completely different atmosphere from inside. Disappointing experience here. Bad service and bad food! The chicken fried steak looked straight out of a box and tasted like it might've been 3-D printed. Both orders of hashbrowns tasted old like they might've been made that morning. The coffee was not hot but good. I sent the chicken fried steak back and got a breakfast burrito which was decent, but it had those old hashbrowns inside of it so it threw the flavor off. The waiter was nice, but not very attentive. I have no idea why this place is packed every morning. The place is cute. The food is mediocre and overpriced. I ordered the spicy chicken biscuits and gravy. The biscuits were dry like they were day old. My food was not served hot, barely even warm. There was not enough gravy to cover the biscuits. The chicken itself however was tasty. Just off of Matlock road there is a lovely little family-owned brunch spot. This is one of a few locations in the DFW, and if you are in the area I would consider stopping by The exterior isn't much. There is no patio seating or room for any. The interior is nice. It's an open space layout, so, a lot of natural light from the front windows and no inner walls The staff is always friendly and helpful. We have never had a complaint in terms of service. The orders come out quickly, our glasses are filled when needed, and it's an enjoyable experience The menu offers so many breakfast and brunch items. As their name suggests, they specialize in these meals. I would recommend doing brunch, but if you're not in the mood they also have other cafe style entrees to choose from. There's also coffee and plenty of other beverage choices, but I don't believe they have alcoholic, so, don't expect mimosa flights. The food is always delicious, and the portions are typically hearty Note: you will get your bill at the table, but you will pay at the front. This can get a little congested in the waiting area, but it avoids some of the awkward back-and-forth with the settling your check Some tips: This spot gets busy during brunch hours, so, come early and put your name down, or be prepared to potentially wait. Also, the Banana Split French Toast is incredibly massive. I would say 4 people could share it with maybe another dish or so to try - I would recommend savory, because the Banana Split French toast is sooooo sweet. Eggsquisite Cafe is excellent. HUGE MENU! They have everything for brunch you can think of, including breakfast martinis. Modern and clean, it is located at 1530 E. Debbie Lane in Mansfield, south of Hwy 287. We were seated immediately. It was quite full considering it was 10:30. Staff was pleasant and efficient and very busy. But, they had enough help and our order was taken immediately We received our coffee and it was hot and tasty. After a short wait, our food was delivered. Avocado toast on whole wheat bread comes with 2 eggs and fruit.that bread was sturdy. I got sliced tomatoes and they were actually good! Hubby got traditional bacon and egg with home fries and pancakes as his side. Over easy eggs were perfectly cooked. Pancakes were good. Coffee also good. We both agreed it would be a regular stop if we lived in Mansfield but the only thing different from most other "good" breakfast spots is the inclusion of lunch items and cocktails. Loved Eggsquisite Cafe! This morning was our first time visiting an Eggsquisite Cafe. This location is in the town we're building a home in, so it was nice to find a great breakfast spot. We ate here around 9 am on a Thursday. I'd say the place was about 50% occupied. A pleasant host (maybe the manager) and quite a few servers. We were able to choose an open booth, got seated and our server, Kim, came by right away and took our drink order (waters and coffees). After studying the menu a bit, Kim came back over to to take our order: We ordered: - Chicken Fried Steak with White Gravy, 2 Poached Eggs, O'Brien Potatoes and MultiGrain Toast - Meat Lover's Skillet with Soft Scrambled Eggs and Pancakes The food, like the service was fantastic. Nice portions and served hot. I even asked for my pancake to be delayed so I could eat it as my breakfast dessert and Kim told me to just let her know when to drop it. Once I let her know, no longer than 5 minutes later, it was on our table. My wife's poached eggs were a perfect medium. My soft scrambled eggs were perfect. And soft scrambled is pretty hit and miss. I guess when Eggs is in your company name, you better get them right - and they did. My skillet was really good and had a lot of meat in it. I ate half my meal and will enjoy the other half tomorrow. Likewise, my wife ate half her meal as well. Everything here (floor, tables, booths, seats) was very clean and the place was well lit. They have an extensive breakfast and lunch menu. Came in town for a quick visit and picked up some food to go. I ordered the migas- no photo as I was starving and ate it in the car: good sized portions however the Eggs were bland and there was one 1 tortilla strip in sight. Hash browns had a crisp top but pretty bland as well. The avacado benidict (no bacon) was decent however the Hollandaise sauce was also lacking flavor. We visited on a Sunday, so it was definitely busy. However, we didn't expect to wait for the food for 40 minutes without even being checked on. Then the wrong food was brought out two times - the first time was only three of our four orders of which one was wrong and the fourth was completely missing; the second time they brought out the wrong order for the missing one but promptly replaced it. My daughter's food was cold, and my food was lukewarm but we were hungry - we asked for my daughter's meal to be comped due to all the issues and because her food was literally cold. So, you may be asking why 4 stars...the food was delicious! Regardless of the wait, it didn't overshadow the flavor of the food. I enjoy eating here. Good hot strong coffee with flavored creamers. Everything I have tried has been very good. So I try something new each time I visit. For first timers I recommend the sausage and bisqut omelet, different and very flavorful. Although they are busy, I have never felt rush to leave. We came here on a busy Sunday morning. There was a short wait but my wife put us in the list so we were also immediately seated. It's a nice, bright, family friendly restaurant. Pretty extensive breakfast/brunch menu. So much I wanted to try it all. I got the biscuits and gravy which came with sausage, eggs and hash browns, my wife got eggs Benedict, and the girls got pancakes. The portions were large, no one really finished everything, but we tried. I enjoyed the biscuits and gravy, fluffy biscuits and flavorful gravy. The girls pancakes were also very good, the batter had a nice cakey hint to it, almost like Black Bear diner batter. My wife enjoyed her eggs as well. I typically go to the Midlothian location, but this one was closer to my sister, so tried this location for the first time. Service was lovely. We were able to join the online waitlist and our table was ready right in time. We walked right in and was immediately sat. The food is where it slightly fell apart. My niece was very happy with her spicy chicken biscuits and gravy. My son got the traditional and everything was good with the exception of the hashbrowns with cheese. The hashbrowns weren't hot so the cheese that was on top wasn't melted at all, and it didn't melt while it was at the table. The cheese freely moved around as he ate his hashbrowns. The egg portion of my smoked salmon scramble was very good but the potatoes that came with them were very chewy and tasted like they had already been cooked for a while. They also weren't hot. I would say in general all of the food came out lukewarm, despite it being very busy. I would've imagine they were having to turn the food around at a quick pace and it would've come out much hotter than it did. My sister had an omelette and she paid extra to get the fruit but she didn't eat the fruit because it tasted like it was cut on the same cutting board that onions were cut on. Not sure how new this place is maybe they're still trying to get their bearings but since breakfast is costly in general, I don't think I'll be coming back to this location anytime soon . read more

When Eggsquisite first opened we tried and and loved it. I was hopeful they'd do well in Mansfields crowded breakfast market. I'm happy to say they're thriving. Came in shorty after 7:00 am on Saturday and the parking lot was full. It's a large place so we were seated quickly by the owner himself with great service to follow. The food was fantastic. It has been all three times we've visited. Consistently delicious. Shout out to the coffee they serve. It's the best cup of coffee in Mansfield. Upon pulling up the parking lot was so full, we got the only spot available. Seeing that made us nervous for how busy it was going to be as it was a random Thursday around 11AM. Our server wasn't warm and welcoming at all. It was our first time coming, and we let her know that. So she would know we needed some time to browse the menu. We got asked if we were ready 3 times. My birthday weekend started with a disappointing breakfast at Eggsquisite Cafe. I ordered the chicken and waffles, but as I began to eat, I discovered paper cooked into my waffle! It was shocking; the paper was so embedded it looked like a clump of butter, and I could have easily eaten it without realizing. I immediately told the waitress, and she took the entire dish to have it remade. While she was gone, I shared food with my wife, so by the time she brought the dish back plated for dine-in, it was too late; we were already done eating. I then told her to just have it made to-go. She took the food back again to package it for to-go. When she brought to go order and the bill, I noticed the charge for the chicken and waffles was still on it. I asked if it shouldn't be comped since there was paper in the food and I wasn't able to eat it. She responded no, she couldn't comp it because she was 'giving me the food to-go.' At that point, I told her to just remove it and forget the food. She took the to-go container away from the table again and said that she would remove the item from the bill. A few minutes past and that's when the manager came to our table. The manager asked me what was going on, and I explained what had happened and I showed her the photo of the paper in my waffle.. She said, "Oh yes, I'm sorry, this should be comped. The manager left and brought me a new bill with the chicken & waffles removed, but never brought me new food. They didn't really 'comp' anything since they took the food away and never returned it. It was a frustrating experience and a poor response from the restaurant. I won't be returning. read more

So I like the place and the food but the up charges were a little weird. I ordered the combo breakfast plate which comes with two crepes. I've never seen a crepe not come with something in it. Because if it didn't come with something in it, would it be considered a crepe or just rolled bread? Any ways when I got the bill I noticed there was a $3 up charge for the fruit in the crepe and a $1.29 for the Nutella. I wouldn't have minded the up charge on one item, but shouldn't something come in the crepe? According to the waitress you get nothing in a crepe you have to pay if you want anything in it. Smoked Salmon Scramble - my favorite, I was able to substitute hashbrowns for potatoes, comes with toast. It is a little salty, the salmon, which is my preference but juportions! This one is alot of food, hollandaise sauce is on point. Corned Beef Hash - not over cooked, choice of two sides (toast & sausage), with eggs, generous porton! Turkey Pesto Panini - try this one! Love how the pesto isn't messy, very flavorful. Bacon was perfectly cooked! Chose grapes & melons with this which again were sweet & not overly ripe! Coffee is good, just overall. Green tea is available, it's nice to have it as an option since that's not always the case at other places. You have your fair choice of creamers & sweeteners already at the table. First off the food is amazing! I had the crab Benedict .... Keep in mind I'm from MD so I Am super judgy of crabs.... I can honestly say one of the best crab Benedict's I've had. Seasoned to perfection, tomato crisp, nice little salad mix and a razzle dazzle of haan bread instead of English muffin that made it perfect light meal but filling.
