Yelp Review 2026 #171: Close to the Museum of Art and History in Les Tranchees in Geneva is this beautiful Russian Orthodox Church. I've had multiple attempts to go to Russia but things keep happening in the world. This was the closest thing I could get to traveling to Russia. It's in a quiet neighborhood. It's easy to get to from landmarks and restaurants in Geneva. It was built in the 1800s. The bright white walls catch your eyes. The gold onion domes of this church is captivating. Cool little Russian Church in the old part of Geneva. We went by during a Sunday Service and it was a pleasure to see everybody out and about. Beautiful architecture and grounds read more

As an English-speaking expat, this church was exactly what I was looking for. The location is right…read morein the middle of downtown by the lake, is easily accessible by public transportation, and is located just adjacent to the Hotel Kempinsky. It's a historic building full of friendly people, is open-minded and accepting, and offers lots of opportunities for socialisation and events. The music during the 1030 service is the best in Geneva, and the Rector and Deacon genuinely care about the parishioners. If you want to experience true Christian hospitality, this is the place!
