The bartenders here suck too. They have no idea what Midori is, which tells me you need to take yourself out of the bartending game. The floors and tables tend to be sticky and the bathroom is filthy. This is just not the place for me and I would rather cross the street and go to Justisen, which is probably one of my least favorite places in Oslo.

Bread was also served with olive oil and balsamic. Every bite of both main dishes, the salad and bread was so delicious and fresh. Dave was a joy as our server, very personable and fun personality. You can also sit inside or in their covered glass patio too, but we were toasty warm under some excellent heat lamps.The servers were very nice and our food came quickly. I usually don't expect much from non-local cuisine restaurants but the prosciutto and margherita pizzas were ligit with a crispy thin crust. A bit minimalist on the basil but hey, overall, it's a pizza that order if I were home (and add some more basil on my own)! Their calamari was crispy, tender and not at all greasy. ~$65 for two pizzas, app and a beer seems steep, but not a lotin Norway and not even for SF, and definitely not on a Sunday at 9PM for two jetlagged cranky Americans.

The spicy salami was boosted with chili and Sicilian Ndjua paste. Plus spicy sausage meat all on a crispy thin base. Perfecto! The others had classic Capricciossa which I ended up finishing off too, just confirm the all round awesomeness of the pizza. We've had pasta there too and that was delicious too. They even had the thinner penne which is almost impossible to get hold of here but which makes a tasty dish due to pasta surface area : sauce ratio. Otherwise great, friendly Norwegian and Italian service and a funky one-off interior. A bit pricey but also great location with a great view (in a couple of years when they've finished building the Munch museum!) Try it!

I came here a Tuesday evening with a friend for dinner. We asked to be seated outside as it was a beautiful summer day. We had two different waiters continuously asking for our order, but since my friend and I hadn't seen each other in a while it took us sometime to work our way through the menu since we kept talking about other stuff. When we finally ordered a bottle of Prosecco from one waiter, the other one came back and asked us to order again. Clearly they had no system or even communication between the staff. Our first order actually never went through so the second waiter had to come back again and he ended up taking our whole order. This whole ordeal, going back and forth between the waiters, ended up taking almost 45 minutes. We ended up ordering hummer pasta for two, which tasted ok. I was not super impressed with the dish, but it satisfied my hunger. Because of a sudden shift in the weather we moved inside. Although the staff was pretty friendly about it this resulted in some other difficulties with no one waitering on our table. Personally I believe there is a lot of potental for the staff to improve. Like I said Cargo has a lot of potential, especially because of their ideal location at Sørenga, however I will not be back anytime soon.
