First time here... and staff was great. Very good service. I ordered the Tom Kha Ramen soup (takeout) as I wanted to try it. I then went next and did some quick shopping... and picked up the soup when I was done. It was waiting for me even though I was not gone long. Got home, put everything in a bowl... and tried to make it pretty! Chashu pork portion was small, but it tasted fine. The three shrimp included were yummy and large. The soft eggs were ok, as were the bean sprouts and herbs. The broth was sort of like a cross between Tom Kha and Tom Yum.... tasty though. We popped in here for lunch. It was pretty quiet but had lovely staff. We tried the steamed dumplings, pineapple fried rice, and the kahri noodles. The dumplings were very good. Looks can be deceiving but they were perfectly cooked, filled with meat and the sauce they came in was savory and sweet. The pineapple fried rice was lacking in a bit of seasoning/flavor. Texturally it was very good, cooked well. Adding in some sambal helped. The kahri noodles were very good, reminded me of drunken noodles. It states it's spicy, but there wasn't much, even with asking for extra spice. Overall I would definitely try again, but it wasn't spectacular. read more

Very quiet when we arrived just before 5:00 pm on a Monday. The friendly hostess/server greeted us quickly and showed us to a table, returning with waters for the table right away. We learned a couple of things: no kids menu, no kids chop sticks and they don't split dishes in the kitchen. All things we were able to work around. Our orders arrived fairly fast, steaming hot and plentiful. I had the wonton egg noodle soup. It was a delightful broth. The wontons were good, the bok choy tasty, a lot of good thin egg noodles and the pieces of pork were somewhat dry and flavorless. All in all, I'd give it a 7 out of 10. One of my dining companions had the beef pho and the other the pad see ew. The pho was shared with a toddler (they brought us another bowl so we could split it) and both enjoyed theirs with leftovers. This place is a hidden gem! Thai food that tastes sooooooo good! A lot of the dishes on the menu I can make myself, but this place makes it taste better. We have liked EVeRY dish we have ordered here. Except maybe the pad Thai. It's just too sour for our liking. Service is decent. They are stingy on utensils and napkins. With a kid, it helps to have access to all of that without having to constantly ask. I love tom yum and the tom yum noodle dish they had was marked as MUST TRY. I can make that dish at home myself, but their touch to the flavor was so much better. I also am I big fan of their curry. That red curry is addicting. We will definitely be back for more. Stopped by here unexpectedly on our way back from Portland to supercharge my car and was pleasantly surprised with how I enjoyed it! The restaurant wasn't too busy so we for greeted and seated right away. The restaurant itself is really clean and inviting. Our server was very kind and helpful. We got our refills quickly and our food didn't take too long. Food itself was really good! They were very generous with the meats and everything was very flavorful. This is my second time ordering from them on DoorDash and being disappointed, so I think it will be my last. The first time I ordered a Thai iced tea that was so full of ice that it was gone in a few sips. It had about half a cup of tea in it. Today I ordered the salad rolls and paid extra for Shrimp. The rolls were falling apart and random sizes and the shrimp? Where is the shrimp? There were about 2 in the whole order, cut in small pieces, like the one you see in the bottom. Some rolls didn't have any and the few that did had on piece of a shrimp, just like that. Huge rip off. I can't believe I paid extra for shrimp. read more

Not great, not bad. Just mid. There are many other Thai places in the Salmon Creek area that are my preference. Also, $10 for these small salad rolls is robbery. (My hands aren't big btw.) My new fave restaurant in the west side of the Couve. So many different noodle options! My fave by far is the beef curry noodles. I went twice back to back in a week, and I'm still craving it. Also tried the salad rolls with chicken, pad see ew, pad Thai (I liked this better than most Thai spots), tom yum nam kohn (love this soup typically at Thai restaurants, but too sour here), and son in law eggs (skin was quite chewy but flavor good). Service is a bit slow at times, and some miscommunication, but food will bring me back. The atmosphere felt pretty similar to a shopping mall food court. Been there twice so far- we've had the lemongrass noodle soup (twice!), Pad Thai (twice- both chicken & pork, and Pad Se Eu with tofu (SO good-I thought I was served chicken at first!), and eggrolls (twice). We pass this place often & finally made it our mission to try it out. I love when restaurants have recommendations as thats something I'll usually try. I went with the kahri noodles & my boyfriend got the duck noodles. I was surprised to see duck on the menu as it is something that's harder to cook & you don't see it on menus often. The kahri noodles were so tasty, something I have never seen before. It was kind of like eating curry & pad Thai all in one dish. It had a little spice, but not too much. It was really good the flavor of the curry was delicious but the boba in the drink were a bit soggy so I would say getting boba is not really worth the extra they charge for it! I just pulled up to Eight Noodles because Yelp recommended it. Tried this place last night and came here mainly to recommend the Thai Wrap. I don't remember the last time I enjoyed a wrap or sandwich as much as I enjoyed this one. Just the right amount of peanut sauce to add flavor and very well made. My daughter ordered the red curry with beef and really enjoyed it. It was marked spicy , and for me it was a little too spicy. I would give this place a five, but the service was a little bit slow. The staff were very friendly, though, and I think they may have been short-staffed for how busy they were. We enjoyed a delicious dinner here after arriving in Vancouver on Friday evening. We ordered pad woon sen and green curry, both with shrimp. The shrimp were succulent and the flavors were excellent, although the green curry was a bit too spicy for my companion.
