I have always loved going here on Sundays to get my lunch. NEVER again!!! I had an awful experience on this past Sunday, Sept 21,2025. The white male that was serving food was very rude and unfriendly. He refused to serve me and another church member ( African American ) because I asked who he was and stated he was being rude to myself and another customer. He then stated " I own this place and I refused to serve you!" Even though our food was already fixed, he aggressivelly took it back and put it to the side. I normally don't use the race card, but I will today, because that's exactly how it appeared. I was not the only person commenting on his behavior, but he did not take the caucasian person's food. How dare him, when he only has the food business because he has African Americans cooking ! The poor black girl that was also serving looked stunned, but to afraid to say anything. I wiill now let all my church members etc. know to not go patronize with this place! Owner or not, he should be more respectful to his customers, who are patronizing with this establishment. I hope this gets back to him, because he was wrong. I will pray that his heart is softened and he gets his spirit right. God giveth and He will definitely taketh back! Never forget this!!! read more

Friendly service and plenty of gas especially during IDA hurricane. Well worth the drive from Louisiana.

Amazing variety of cold drinks for a gas station in Podunk MS. They have Izzy bottled sodas, Mexican coke, Jones Cola and all kinda other fancy smansey drinks. Plenty of lanes for gassing up. Ample parking spots for just running in to grab a snack and use the really CLEAN restrooms. Thy have a huge handicap stall and there is a changing table. They have a little deli with all things fried. I tried a pizza stick last time I ran through (dried out and over fried but whatev, that's the chance ya take with gas station food). There is also a truck stop, but the regular cars and the trucks are on opposite sides of the store so there isn't any intermingling of vechiles. The people that work here are always very friendly and quick. I always make this my pit stop when I'm back and forth from NOLA to Natchez. It's worth holding it for 20 minutes to get here. read more

We read the reviews of this place and decided to stop by and check it out. We were running Low on gas so first things first we stopped at the gas pumps. The pumps were modern with all the bells and whistle's. There was trash paper towels and a cleaning sponge for your car. All fully stocked and all well located. We went into use the bathrooms. The bathrooms had just been cleaned. Everything worked and was well-stocked. We came out and we did a little shopping amongst the aisles. They had a good selection including some local goodies. The music was spot on little jazzy a little Christmasy. It was obvious that somebody had taken an effort to curate the selection for the holiday season. Highly recommend this chevron gas station and I will likely stop at Chevron again in the future! read more

I read the reviews so we stopped here on a trip. It was lunchtime. There was a line getting the fresh made food. It looked so good I got in the line myself! I got ribs, black eyed peas with okra, potato logs, and cornbread. Wow, at a gas station, all for $5.99. And it was good! I especially liked the black eyed peas. I entered the chevron on 84 as I normally do every morning! This morning the lady at the register seemed bitter! So I get my chicken and biscuit get into line with 3 people ahead of me once the person ahead me goes to pay for their food I step to the side , respectful of his privacy ! I step up to purchase my chicken and biscuit and the lady at the register says " your not in line get to the back of the line " seemed reminiscent of Rosa parks. I never had another person o African decent make me feel this way! She was extremely rude and her attitude is not conducive of a person that should be working at a service station. When I asked to speak to the manager she stated that she was the manager. Then proceeded to step to the back and call the actual manager I presume! Moments later a lady of Caucasian decent appeared stating she was the manager. I'm confused do chevrons carry 3 managers on one shift ? Im a construction work whose Been in this area 4 months and I've come to the store every day the last 2 months. The cameras can show me waiting in line but she told the manager on the phone I was attempting to skip line. read more
