Soy free and vegan ice cream yummmm. The cashier was helpful at explaining the flavors. It's a small tight space but there is seating in the building behind it. My only complaint is the wood spoons made the ice cream taste kind of funny. But at least they're sustainable.

Eighty 7 Sweets has officially made it onto my "will definitely be back" list. First things first--everything here is vegan. That includes the ice cream and even the cookie bowls. The space itself is tiny but super cute. It's so small that they only allow two people inside at a time, which actually makes the experience feel more personal. KP was incredibly sweet and took the time to walk me through all the flavors and the different ways I could remix my ice cream experience. I went with the Sweet Auburn Butter Pecan and Edgewood Oreo in a cookie bowl--and I loved that she offered to warm the cookie. Because honestly, who doesn't love a warm cookie paired with ice cream? Of course, me being my greedy self , I added a little extra on top--sprinkles, chocolate syrup, and a Biscoff cookie. It tasted so good, and I genuinely could not tell that everything was dairy-free. For anyone unfamiliar with the area, it's located downtown, and parking can be a bit tricky. If you're meeting friends, I'd recommend carpooling or giving yourself extra time since you may have to circle a bit to find a spot. Even with the parking situation, this place is absolutely worth it. Between the customer service, the overall experience, and the flavor, Eighty 7 Sweets checks all the boxes. I'll definitely be back for many more visits.

Wow! Well worth wait. Has this on my list since last year, left dinner tonight and wanted to have a treat. And it was a "treat"!! Friendly service. She was very patient and helping me Select since that was my first time visiting. I will be back. Have to try the pecan next time.

Amazing hole in the wall ice cream spot. All vegan ice cream and tastes great. KP helped us out, and was absolutely amazing. She was extremely helpful with all the right vibes. Got a mocha and Oreo mix milkshake. Already almost finished it while writing this review. Great taste and perfect consistency.

So good we walked like 10 blocks two nights in a row from our hotel. I am a non-dairy girl, but the two girls I brought with me are dairy people. This vegan coconut ice cream is sooo creamy and so delicious that they preferred it over normal ice cream. I have never had vegan ice cream that is this good. We were really impressed. Plus, KP, who serves up the scoops, has such good energy and is so kind and just so cool. The vibes in this place are on point! The lighting, the jazzy lo-fi hip hop music...everything about this place is perfection. I highly suggest the Carmel flavor and the strawberry mango. Also the homemade cones are awesome.

Cookie bowl, wakanda and vanilla ice cream and a butter butter cookie!

Such an amazing vegan ice cream place. Service is always wonderful. I was here 6 years ago and had to come back!! This time I got a cookie bowl with wakanda and vanilla ice cream with a nutter butter cookie on top. Delish!

Woweee. One bite and I am a fan. Super teeny place with big bold flavors. Your non-vegan friends will never know the difference.

First time visiting a vegan ice cream parlor and it was delightful. Service was great with the close intimate space as the space is very small. There was 1 table with 4 seats outside of the building. I had the vanilla and the wakanda (black mystery), and would recommend it! Both were delicious. I couldn't eat half of the cookie bowl but it had great coconut flavor with a light chocolate chip cookie flavor. Highly recommend!

Since I was staying nearby, I decided to try this vegan ice cream spot. The ice cream here is all coconut milk based. It's a small space where you just go up to order but there are some chairs and tables set up outside. The ice scooper helping was super friendly and even gave us Atlanta recommendations. I got two scoops which came out to be just under $8. Spelman strawberry & mango - more icey than creamy with chunks of mango. The strawberry flavor was subtle and I wish the flavor came through more. The flavor was very refreshing! West end wakanda - super creamy! It's a vanilla based ice cream with charcoal and a little bit of salt. I highly recommend this flavor!

small counter where you order one party at a time, very covid conscious. first thing i noticed was the fun ice cream names on the menu. we were allll wondering about the morehouse chocolate. we really enjoyed our conversation with KP and guessing the mystery flavor ice cream (grey/black). our fav flavor was butter pecan. so happy for atlanta that we have a solid local black owned vegan ice cream spot. next time i wanna try a float or milk shake! some of the ice cream flavors i wish were more creamy textured. i also hope they will have some future ice creams that are not coconut based!

Wait what!! Vegan ice cream that's coconut based. This place was so good we had to go back the next day!! We got butter pecan, west end wakanda buckhead mocha and Edgewood cookies and cream. My hubby got the graham cracker bowl. We decided it was not worth the $3. The Next visit we just got the ice cream in bowls. The service was good..we were told we could try two flavors. Not sure if that literally meant you can only try two but that's how I took it. I'll try another two when we go back. It's a small spot but we were told there's some seating somewhere.

Cute small store with the friendliest service. Best ice cream I've had in the area. Will definitely be back to try other flavors :)

I went on a holiday, which was super busy, but even so, service was prompt and attentive. I ordered a pasaflora to drink, which had a beautiful flower in it, queso blanco with chips, al pastor mushroom tacos, chochoyotes, and flan for dessert. Every single dish was inspired, layered with flavor, creative, and truly unique. The presentation was also lovely and each bite felt thoughtful and well-executed. I would order everything a million times over! One thing that especially stood out was the flan's texture, which was silky, delicate, and perfectly balanced. I was also pleasantly surprised to see fried green tomatoes on the menu. It felt like such a special nod to the restaurant's Southern location, blending regional influence in a really cool way. The owner was super nice, which made the experience even better. The decor is gorgeous and so inviting, with intimate, cozy lighting. The whole space feels clean, artistic, and thoughtfully designed. This is an amazing date-night spot that I truly hope sticks around for a long, loooong time. Everything about the atmosphere and experience makes it perfect for a special evening out. I'm already planning to go back and explore more of the menu, but based on my first visit alone, I might even dare to say this is the best vegan restaurant in Atlanta. The jury's still out, but I'm more than happy to keep doing the research to confirm!! lol Last thing I'll say is that I was so grateful not to have to wade through a bunch of non-vegan menu options to figure I it what I could actually order. I also don't have to wonder if my food was being cooked next to a slab of dead animal, which is not the case most places I go. So, thank you for being ALL vegan. The food is so good that there is no chance a non-vegan will feel they've missed out on meat anyway. Logistical stuff: I saw a little bit of street parking, but not a ton. Parking in the deck is definitely the easiest option. You could theoretically bike/skate the Beltline and just walk a couple of blocks to get there. The space is on the smaller side, so I'd recommend making a reservation to be safe if you're visiting on a Friday/Saturday night.

La Semilla is a chic, pan-Latin vegan spot…read more The menu emphasizes replicating non-vegan flavors and taste profiles more than it leans in to offerings that are already vegetable forward. For example, guacamole is conspicuously absent from the menu. In its place, you'll find a creamy (still vegan) Queso Blanco. That's a bold choice, but the dupe delivers. My favorite taste dupe, however, is the crunch wrap. It is spot on. It tastes identical to the much more famous, much less vegan version.

My order was ready on-time. Parking is ample in a private lot and the process of getting your order via pick-up was so easy. I felt the heft of the food in the bag immediately when I pick it up to deliver up out of it the deliciousness of everything inside. It felt like a heavy plate from the cookout or from Grandma's house after Sunday dinner. This is true food for the soul. I loved the sweet potatoes. I loved the mac and cheese. I loved, loved, LOVED the vegan chicken-like protein. I felt in love with it and the hot sauce that came with it. I was not a fan, in particular, of the collard greens--not because they lacked meat seasoning. They were a little too spicy for my liking. Otherwise, this is good food. It is Black-owned and-operated to my knowledge. Support, eat vegan, and be ye healthy.

I got the South of the Border wrap. The full size is enough for two people. It is stuffed with kale (I get the spicy one and it has a nice kick to it), avocado, black bean hummus, and couscous. I highly recommend! I usually order ahead of time and come to pick it up because service is slow. Online, it will say your order is ready in 10-15 minutes, but that is not true. There were about four customers in line when I arrived but it moved as slow as molasses. I recommend ordering online if you don't have extra time to wait. Also know what you want when you arrive, it helps move the line a little quicker. This is a raw vegan restaurant that is known for their kale mix. You have your choice of wraps, spicy kale, mild kale or you can do a 50/50 blend. The spicy has heat which i love but I'm glad I did the 50/50, it was perfect. There is a free parking lot a few steps away from the business and it's large so you shouldn't have a problem finding parking. I had the south of the border with a chili wrap and all ingredients. I had the half size which was extremely large and enough for two people to share or enough for two days. It's such a beautiful wrap but personally not my favorite. All the ingredients were very fresh but it was something that I just didn't enjoy about it. Maybe it was the Moroccan couscous flavor. I'm willing to try another wrap and will probably go with the OG or Dat Ish. Prices were okay for the serving size you receive. There are tables outside. And the employees were all pleasant.

We got: - Chicken Satay: The chicken itself was so believable, stringy and smoky! And crunchy (though I'm used to satay meat being grilled). The sauce was tasty too- peanut-y, sweet, hint of curry. However, for $8, I'd expect at least 4 skewers. - Shrimp Chow Kway Teow: CKT is one of my favorite noodle dishes ever, and Mamak's version certainly did it justice. The wok hei was so present, the noodles perfectly chewy, and the veggies (snow pea, onion, carrot, bean sprouts) well-cooked. The shrimp was insane, so bouncy and real-feeling. - Olive Fried Rice: Can't say I've ever had olive leaves before, this dish was delightful! Lots of great toppings (tofu, carrot, green bean, mushroom) that gave some textural diversity. - Black Pepper Beef: The black pepper essence was clearly distinguishable, but the sauce was too sweet for me. The beef was truly reminiscent of the actual thing. Lots of tasty veggies again (cauliflower, celery, jicama, carrot, bell pepper). Overall, taste-wise, all of the dishes were great; however, we did not feel portion sizes matched prices. Service could also stand to improve, with regards to attentiveness. To note, the restaurant is self-seating (I wish there was something that said this at the entrance).
