Nothing like being a zillion miles from home and cracking a molar on a mint. Everyone in Ireland makes me feel so much better by telling me it's impossible to get a dentist appointment... So, I hit the internet and find great recommendations for Galway Dentists. I message them and they get back to be almost instantly and offer me a choice of three appointment times. Heck, I don't get that service back home in Nashville, USA! Google maps gets me there no problem, and I'm seen by Dr. O'Brien. She does a great job and fixes me right up for a very reasonable rate. I can't recommend this place enough! If you are a local, and you are using the "can't get an appointment" excuse to avoid getting your annual exam, you no longer have that excuse! :-) If you are in town from elsewhere and in need, look no further. TIP: Joyce's grocery, across the street from Galway Dentists, offers lots of first hour free underground parking. read more

Visited for the first time earlier today for a dental exam and cleaning. I was running quite late for my appointment; however my reception was forgiving and welcoming. I saw Dr. Michael Donnelly. Exam and cleaning were professional and thorough. I will be happy to return. Highly recommended! read more

Galway Dentists never checked my insurance in advance of work, and then completed x-rays that I did not request, without mentioning there was an additional charge for these. A basic clean and polish cost me 90 euro, when it had been 15 euro and covered by insurance on my previous visit. Also, I did not find them very helpful when the issue occurred. Won't go back. read more
