Giving this place a solid 3 stars. There was plenty of parking. Only a few people inside eating and no line. I walked right up to the counter and ordered. Their display case appeared to be about half full. The floor appeared to be dirty, like it needed a good sweep and a mopping. The countertops also appeared dirty. I think a good cleaning of the floor, countertops, tabletops, and the display case would go a long way here. I would not want to eat here due to the dirty appearance. I was also given a senior discount which I did not ask for, nor am I a senior (I have at least 20+ years to go before reaching senior discount status). Recently went to Einstein's and there was some good mixed with plenty of opportunities. The food was pretty good and they had a variety of bagels and toppings. The prices are also very reasonable across the board. As far as opportunities, the staff was not happy and didn't communicate at all. It was very unusual how they acted and wasn't sure if something had just happened - after all, you never know. I had an everything bagel with lox and it was really good. I feel really bad about this review as it's one of the worst ones yet! Went here and the employee who helped were nice. I'm not sure if they are understaffed or what but, this place is a mess! The glass where the bagels were behind, were dirty, and bagels were pretty old tasting, at least the one that I chose was, and behind the counter was even worse. There were no customers inside when I arrived but of course, once I was inside others came. The coffee area was out of everything from napkins to creamer and the area needed wiping down as it appeared to not have been cleaned for hours. It makes for a happy and smooth chai tea latte. Feel free to explore the menu here with so many delicious options of caffeine. The drinks are made to order. What's your Einstein's favorite. To bagel or not to bagel; that's not the question here. It's a bounty of bagel, just pick the flavor bagel. After the hard choice is done the rest is a breeze. After selecting two dozen bagels and shmear I head to the register.. the cashier rings me up and hands me a receipt pushes my boxes towards me.. Great, but one issue. Love the bagels (especially the blueberry, Asiago, 6 cheese), and of course the strawberry banana smoothie. The issue I have. Once in a while they mess up the order. I think it's the same person on duty each time. The healthy smoothie does not come with whipped cream, however every so often I receive it smothered with cream on top. Since cream is not supposed to be part of the recipe, there's no way to make sure they don't add it each time, as no option to do this when ordering. Today I received the cream again. On top of this, I ordered 2 blueberry bagels and requested not toasted (I like to toast at home) and no smear. However, they smothered them both with cream cheese. I tried removing the cream cheese, but the bagels will not toast with any trace of smear on them. Not happy. I also had to remove the whipped cream from my smoothie with a spoon. Such incompetence. Einstein's has pretty good bagels but this location always frustrates me because it is always chaotic (especially on Saturdays). Yes, it is very busy but I have ordered well in advance online only to still have to wait for my order. As for curbside pick up, it's a joke...I have yet to have someone respond to my curbside orders. I do feel bad for the staff but it's seems it is poorly ran. Our food was not worth the wait. I have been to other locations where the veg out is pretty good....this one was not so great. I go to this location almost every morning before work, but always have to order 25 minutes ahead of time so it will be ready by the time I get there. Almost every time there is something wrong with my order. I always order my bagels "light toasted" and every single time they are burnt. But I can't ask for a new one because I'd be late to work. There is also no "special request" option on the app. So I can't ever ask for extra cream cheese. However, I usually deal with it because there is an 'ok' amount. Except for today. I don't know what it's going to take for this place to learn how to cook bagels. They are always over cooked! Three out of four of these bagles are overcooked! Makes them extremely chewy with a burnt taste! Manager needs to get control of the store!
