I had the Breakfast Burger and steak fries and when I say it was DELICIOUS, well that may be an understatement...Texas toast, hamburger patty, bacon, eggs, hashbrowns and cheese!! He had a taco salad, good fresh ingredients, just what you would expect in a salad. Unfortunately we were too FULL for ice cream but it was selling like hot cakes while we were there. There's window bar seating and a nice, big table to sit at. Looks like specialty flavors change but there's a staple menu. Hot/cold coffee, tea, smoothies, hot chocolate, and pastries. Today I got a Sticky Bun latte. It was super yummy. Had a great brown sugar taste. (And of course I got whipped cream.) Prices are the same you'd expect at any coffee shop. They also added counters that look out onto the sidewalk in front of the shop from tall chairs. There's also a greater integration of social media use (specifically Facebook), and the Coffee Shoppe melds very well with the adjoining thrift shop, Rustic Treasures. I've gone to the Coffee Shoppe three times since the re-opening, and the chocolate chocolate muffin paired with the Antigua drip coffee has been absolutely divine. It's been rather crowded during the lunch hour, but the staff seems to keep up well as new orders roll in.
