I stood there for a minute but no one acknowledged me, no eye contact, nothing. The manager looking type disappeared into the back room. I had to speak up and ask how long I needed to wait for help. The employee studiously looking at her monitor then helped me. All things being equal, I will go with a Vodafone competitor when my contract is up. This was mediocre customer service at best.

Left the shop, took the phone with me and went to another phone repair shop. Was told the sim bed had been destroyed from the blade. Called Carphone Warehouse customer care and asked to speak to a manager and the 'customer services rep' refused to let me speak to one. Phone is still broke and I am out of pocket. Getting a new phone will be same price as a repair. Am so annoyed, disgraceful customer service if you could even call it that. Would not recommened Carphone Warehouse Gorey. Chancers!

I never rate stores but I felt others should be warned of the "service" in this particular store. A…read morebookstore assistant thought it was appropriate to say to me in front of my children, "maybe you should question your parenting skiils" after mentioning I had my children at the Wicklow market yesterday. My children were nothing but polite in that store, as was I. Maybe she should look at herself before she starts judging other people for having a fun day out. My family, I or my friend who accompanied me will certainly not be back to this store after such horrid service and rotten comments. Luckily a nice coffee shop owner seen how upset I was and took me in for a coffee,. Thank you to Peggy's. I wish I had asked for my money back there and then but low and behold, I am a good parent who was not going to upset my eager book readers.

The staff were very helpful and pleasant and said it was okay to leave everything I had chosen and I could pick up and pay for it on my way back after lunch. Just a tip when you shop in here get them to validate your parking as they take a €1 off your parking cost when you spend €10 or over for the car park which is next door to them.
