I came to a silent Bookclub event here last week called Pages with Ponies and just had to come check it out. I loved that they were able to roam around us and we could pet them. I did get some reading done and it's very peaceful here. After we finished reading we were able to make a bowl of food to feed the horses and ponies. This was a unique experience. Some things to know when traveling to get here make sure you turn on 10655 Katy Hockley Rd. There's a black mailbox that has an arrow to turn there. Do it because I missed it the first time and it was pain to u-turn on this tiny road. It's a bumpy road and parking was limited for our party but we made it work. I enjoyed my time here.

This is an absolutely beautiful and very special place to visit located in Katy, Texas. We had a…read morewonderful visit with two small kiddos (ages 5 & 8) and they loved every minute of their experience here. Our small group started with miniature pony brushing and then got to dress up their animals in various accessories. From there they got on smaller horses with a guide leading them and learned basic skills, like stopping (whoa) and had a lot of fun riding around the enclosed area circle. They even played a few games like red light green light. After that they learned to walk with the miniature ponies and even got to take them over a jump and through an obstacle course. We then finished the day with a little carriage ride with the owner, Paige. The highlight of their visit (they said later) was learning to clean out a horse stall. Who knew they loved cleaning so much! All of the guides were wonderful. The main gal that did the instructing was just so lovely and sweet to the kids explaining everything with patience. Definitely a must visit for anyone looking for this kind of experience in the area.

Each child guest had an opportunity to ride a horse before the food & cake cutting. The stable hands were very helpful and friendly. The owners carry a mentality of "it's us against the boarders, Whats we say is right, Whats they…read moresay is wrong". The facility is understaffed, refusing to pay its barn hands overtime. Rather than having the barn hands stay to finish and care for the horses as needed they tell you to go home. It is basically to the point where boarders are showing up to muck and clean out their own horses stalls when this is a service that they pay to be done by the facility. In a way this is theft. The new ownership Caleb Freeman takes no kind of accountability or responsibility for what goes on at the facility. He is never there , only showing up at about 4pm after everything that needs to be done is done. After expressing numerous times the need for more help and hands the request was never answered. Water troughs are dirty and filthy consumed with algae. Broken fence and pasture boards are rampant with ownership doing nothing about it. Hay that is paid for by the boarders for their horses is of very low quality containing small twigs and sticks that could potentially get lodged in the horses stomachs. This is a first impression review from our first visit with Sally…read more We just moved to the area and are looking for a place where my daughter can ride. Having been riding for the last seven years (since she was four), the hardest part of the move has been not being able to ride. Sally was very accommodating allowing her to try out a class alongside her Wednesday horse club class. Our experience was amazing. I truly appreciated how Sally respected my daughter's riding style and did not try to make her ride any other way. She gave her feedback throughout the lesson and adjusted technique when needed. She also explained things my daughter seemed to be clueless about (it happens!) She was kind and respectful and her facility is lovely. My daughter is more interested in cutting and reining, which doesn't seem to be common round here. Until we find such a place, I think we are where we need to be. Looking forward to future lessons.
