I stumbled upon this cafe selling Gelato on a summer day and couldn't resist ordering it. I once spent a summer in Italy allegedly studying, but mostly eating gelato EVERY single day, so my taste-buds are pretty finely attuned to good gelato.
And this one was SO LEGIT!!! I started talking to the server who turns out to be the owner - he is italian and has been running this cafe for decades (I think he said since 1983 but don't quote me) - AND THE GELATO IS HOMEMADE!!! NO WONDER IT WAS SO DAMN BLOODY GOOD AND AUTHENTIC!!! i had the Yogurt, Straciatella and Hazelnut.
