The queue went quickly and the staff were very friendly, so don't be deterred by the line as there is usually one. Across our 4 day trip our group tried a few of the flavours. The coffee, after eight (mint chocolate) and hazelnut were our favourites. We missed out on a few flavours as we went later in the day every time. The black forest and snickers inspired one (I can't remember the name) were also both very nice. They also had a Dubai chocolate flavour if that's your thing, although we didn't try it. I found the walnut gelato a little bland - it would be great with some little dark chocolate pieces or even a drizzle of hot chocolate sauce. They are cash only at the gelato counter so go prepared. We got apple pie in their sit down restaurant one afternoon and were able to pay with card for that. It was really good! Their dessert menu is wild, with spaghetti inspired dishes that reminded us of Buddy the elf! Definitely worth a visit!

I was not particularly hungry, but I was so glad I stopped by and tried some of their sweets! We ended up ordering the apple strudel with a side of run based vanilla ice cream and a slice of tiramisu. Both were freshly baked being brought out from what I assume was the bakery/kitchen in the back. The strudel and ice cream was divine, warm, chewy, and easily the best strudel I had so far while touring around Germany. As for the tiramisu, it was unlike any tiramisu I have ever had, as the texture was more a resemblance of a soft sponge cake. I do not mean this in a bad way either, strong balance of coffee and cake, easily could've had another piece honestly. I cannot comment on any savory dishes, but the sweets were worth it alone! Great prices, great service, and great sweets, how could you go wrong?

Cons: Gelato not as creamy as most, tastes more like ice cream, than gelato. I give the restaurant four because of the gelato. Everything was fantastic! Loved the restaurant but have had better gelato. There could be a better gelateria in Füssen.
