The place ahs history, having been around for more than 90 years. It is run by a pair of brothers, one a bit chubbier and more jovial, and th eother skinny and a bit more stern faced. It seems like the skinnier brother si the mastermind behind mixing thier ice cream. They make it on premises with machines that are real old school. Vanilla is nothing more than milk, sugar, vanilla bean and eggs,a nd it is smooth and perfectyou can tell they use purer and better ingredients than anyone else.
The decor could be considered in need of updating, but i like the neighbourhood cafe charm of the place.
I go there at any opportunity, and their vanilla is the most vanillaish I ever had, their chocolate is the darkest and smoothest, their version of straciatella is called Granatella has the msot chocoalate chunks you could imagine,a dn their creation Torrone, whcih is basically the ingredients in the Toblerone Chocolate melts in your mouth. I am not the biggest fan of thier fruit flavoured ice creams, but the milk and chocolate ones are easily the best available.
