Tried this place based on all the reviews. I tried the carnitas, carne asada and Al pastor. First thing is they don't have the condiments out so that you can get limes. Cucumbers, different salsas, onions and cilantro. Instead they give you one plate with grilled onions, jalapeños, and carrots in it. If you order a lot of tacos you still get one plate.They said all the condiments were in the bag but there were no limes. They don't have avocado salsa. The salsa they have is a a roasted chili flavor and is on the sweet side so it is not good with the tacos. The carne asada had no salt, no flavor. It tasted like boiled meat. The tortillas had no flavor which you get when the cooks put tortillas in the oil. The Al pastor was not flavorful either. The carnitas were ok but without any flavor on the tortillas, no good salsa, it was all very dry. I prefer dotys and el Chiapas on Crenshaw. read more

Came here with the fam to grab some tacos and fruit for lunch. We went to the taco truck and ordered some asada, carnitas, and birria tacos with consommé. Unfortunately we asked for some without onion or cilantro and they all came with as well as insisting we didn't ask for the consommé so we had to wait in line again to fix it all. We also went across and ordered the vampire/beet juice, fresa, and the giant pineapple covered in mango and everything else. I get that y'all are cutting up a pineapple and what not but with no line it took them 18 minutes to put it all together. If you're ordering it- it's worth the wait. This has been my favorite place for a couple years now but a few weeks ago I found a price of hair in my burrito. They gave me another burrito so I guess it was okay. Today I went and got a burrito to go, about half way through I literally found A WHOLE PEICE OF PLASTIC. are you kidding me??? I could have choked. I called the place and asked if the lady spoke english, she said yes. I explained what happened and she just hung up on me. I've been coming here since around 2015, and back then it was usually with friends to get some cheap $1 tacos that were still very good. Now in days I come with family and the tacos are still very yummy and fresh. In addition to the tacos they have desserts like crepes, ice cream, mexican corn off the cob with chili and cheese, tostilocos and fruit agua frescas. Since they're prices aren't super crazy you're able to have some dinner and dessert without emptying your pockets. It's a staple in the neighborhood for sure! The staff is pretty nice and you're able to try the ice cream before you decide which one you want. There's ample space to sit so not your typical taco truck! read more

I placed the order with specific order not to add onions , tomatoes, and no avocados because I'm allergic. I also asked for salsa on the side (I missed spelled it on the order but it should of been obvious ). Thank god I am Paranoid and checked before biting into it because it had tomatoes, onions, and avocado. I called to speak with them and they wouldn't give me their name. The lady I spoke to let me know it wasn't on her but the cook(she was not wrong ) then she proceeded to tell me that it must not been on the ticket order and she made it very clear that she could care less if I would of had a reaction. My family and I have been coming to this establishment since I was a kid (20 years now), the amount of memories I have at this place. With every chance that I get, I introduce new friends to the amazing food, great desserts, friendly service, and great environment. Still delicious and very affordable! This place gets super crowded pretty much anytime of the day, but definitely worth the wait! Parking can get cramped so if you see street parking take it. Carnitas is super tender and juicy and they definitely don't skimp on the protein. El pastor is also delicious and the beef tongue is probably the best tongue I've tried around LA. read more

My boyfriend and I last visited this place last Saturday after a Night Nation Run. It's a great place to stop at for late night cravings. To me it seems that the corn comes from a can, and they lack on the quantity of toppings they add. Also they don't use chile, they use tajin which takes away from the authentic flavor. On the premise there's an ice cream shop and a place to get agua frescas (I always get watermelon). Parking can be difficult to find, especially if you come later in the night. THE BEST TACO TRUCK IN GARDENA! El Antojito has some delicious, authentic tacos. My friend first took me here a couple months ago. The surrounding area isn't the nicest, but it's worth going if you are craving awesome tacos late at night! El Antojito offers everything from tacos to burritos to tortas to ceviche. So far I've only tried the tacos though. My friend really like the tortas too so I'll try that out and write about it later. The tacos are very simple, but the marinade that they out on the meat is great. Each taco is topped with salsa, cilantro and onions. I wish they give some limes on the side since that would add so much flavor, but it's good by itself too. So far I've tried the chicken, asada and al pastor tacos. The asada and al pastor are my two favorite tacos. The best part is the tacos are only $1 each! So cheap and good. I also heard the fresas con crema is absolutely delicious here so I'll have to try that out too. If you want some legit tacos then you should definitely check out El Antojito! read more

El Antojito is my favorite place for taco truck bites and chamangos/mangoneadas in LA. I was visiting my brother and had a major hankerin' for some tostadas de ceviche and my bro recommended El Antojito just a mile or so away. I arrived around 10am and was pleasantly surprised to find that I could also order a chamango! I put in my food order and then my chamango order, and within five minutes I was on my way home. The seafood was extremely fresh and the portion size was generous for the price. The ceviche seasoning was perfectly done and saturated in the fish and shrimp- heavenly! I appreciated the extra limon and tapatío they provided as well. The chamango was huge and flavorful and the consistency was perfect with just the right frozen juice to chamoy ratio. I've been back to El Antojito a few times, "cuando se me antoja" and it's always good. read more
