San Vicente de la Barquera has lots of dining options. With a little research we chose this place. Based on good feedbacks and the fact that they serve Lobster Paella.
Location is at the main street, but it's blocked a bit, so it's not really noisy. Staff was very friendly and our Bulldog was welcome as well. The place - the whole town actually - was pretty quiet during these Covid-19 times.
Had some Gambas a la plancha for a starter (grilled shrimp) and then of course the big pot of Lobster Paella for two as a main.
Shrimp were nice and fresh, a good choice. The Lobster Paella was very big in size, couldn't finish all the rice, but the Lobster we managed. Lobster tasted very good and fresh. Nicely cooked, tender.
Two glasses of white wine each with that. Bread on the side.
A very good meal in a very nice little town. Staff was great, prices are fair, food quality is good. A nice lunch. read more
