This place was a block off the main drag, and honestly, it didn't look like much, but we were tired of walking. The food was authentic and AMAZING!!! Started with a tapas plate of fried goat cheese topped with three different toppings. For the main course, my wife had a pancake filled with prawns and veggies. I had the best cod dish I've ever had on a bed of potatoes. Add a couple bottles of local beer and a sangria unlike any I've ever tasted and we had an outstanding meal. We had our lunch here al fresco and shared an order of Boquerones (marinated anchovies) and Ibérico con Manchego y "Pa amb tomàquet" (Spanish cured reserve Serrano ham with manchego cheese and bread with tomato). I also had a Dorada Beer. The service was pleasant and attentive, prices reasonable, and ambiance just right for the occasion. A delightful place.

Outside tables are perfect for some people watching and to take in the fresh air. It's nice because it's not the the busy Main Street that everyone is walking up and down.

Little that we know, we'd find a sweet spot of a beach bar! All throughout our holiday in La Palma, I wanted a margarita...finally! Jackpot! Love on The Beach was it! Finally on our last day on the island, I get to have a margarita! There were seating- with no wait! The bartenders were great! Service with a smile is always an great reason to stay and have another drink! The night was beautiful and the company was irreplaceable. Love on The Beach is the 2nd beach bar, if you are walking from Hotel Sol La Palma. The 1st beach bar is overcrowded and is much too loud, forcing people to shout. Love on The Beach has music but low enough so you can enjoy a drink and a decent conversation with your friends. This is definitely a beach bar I would frequent on my next visit to La Palma.
