It's situated close to where I work downtown, and I really needed to get an energy boost, as well as, something to put in my stomach. The cafe itself is quite large, and there are more than enough tables and places to sit. I didn't notice any outdoor seating, but that didn't matter, I found a nice spot along the window area. It was somewhat early to order any real food, so instead I got the Chocalatin pastry, which is similar to a croissant with chocolate. Instead of regular coffee, I decided on a medium cappuccino with leche, and for that I added 3 sugar packs. There were quite a few people seated inside, and I would guess about four people standing in the line in frontoc of me. The Chocalatin pastry was a great compliment to the capuccino, and it was a nice space to chill out and enjoy the scene.

Coffee was good, but the plump blonde female cashier was really grumpy and that loses you a few stars. It was a hot summer day and I asked for an iced cappuccino. The plump girl scowled and told me they could do iced coffee. I said, no, I wanted a cappuccino. After a ten minute argument during which I told her I knew the difference between a cappuccino and a coffee and she maintained they were the same thing, finally she said, ok-ok-ok and caved in to my demand. When it arrived, it was an iced coffee. Come on, I know what iced coffee is. An iced coffee is not the end of the world but I ordered iced cappuccino. I asked the server, who was quite apologetic, to take it back and bring me a cappuccino and a glass of ice. He did so and the problem was solved. Two points back for the helpful server taking care of this. But the cashier should have done it from the beginning. Any shop with cappuccino and ice can make iced cappuccino. If I'd dealt with him from the beginning I'd have given this place a much higher rating.
