I went to this place for the first time to try it. How was the food? I liked it. It doesn't disappoint, although I don't find it that delicious, but it's good for its price and for the location, in my case, it's quite convenient because it's close to my house. I had no idea that this place existed and now I know that I have a place nearby for when I have a craving for seafood or a shrimp cocktail. The atmosphere was good, the service was acceptable, I would go back without a problem.

This is soo wrong Came in Friday at 3:15pm and the waitress doesn't want to honor happy hour prices and she give me the check with regular price on it. I really really wanted to give this place another try but damn it they failed it's soo close from my house and they used to be good. No bueno

Love the drinks. That's the only reason we came and the Tamarita has to be the best! Drinks came out fast and the music was definitely hitting today, playing dance remixes.

Came here on a whim tonight and it was delicious. The workers were kind, service was quick, and the food caught me by surprise. It was also family friendly, with a kids menu. My toddler devoured the rice. The food. We ordered a shrimp cocktail, empanadas, and shrimp tacos. Everything was fresh, well seasoned, and decadent. I must say, the empanadas were very impressive. They had so much filling! Definitely a must try. The cocktail was solid. Great fresh flavor. And the tacos were unique. It wasn't a traditional shrimp taco, more of a quesadilla with shrimp and veggies. It was really great and full of flavor. We also ordered some cocktails! Which were so delicious as well! I'm telling you, everything was really good. I'm seriously impressed. I had the Mangorita, blended. It was so refreshing and perfectly sweet. Definitely a must try and I'll be back.

This place was literally not the best?? I ordered Ceviche de camarón and my husband got the coctel, Levanta Muertos. I absolutely hated the ceviche, literally i could not describe what everything tasted like and my friend who had been there before said it tastes "unclean"... and truly that is the BEST word. The food was just...weird?? The "aguas frescas" were not good either. The worst of all...the service was HORRIBLE. The waitresses all suck, we saw them maybe 2x?? Will never be back.

Huge portions! Be ready to share with friends, or if you have no friends then be ready for leftovers. The staff is super friendly and the service was impeccable. They took care of us. The prices are more expensive than other places but the portions are very large ! Worth the money! Immediately after being seated you will get a large basket of just made tortilla chips snd salsas, so fire! We went on a Friday around 7 pm. Karaoke started at 8 or 830 pm. Very family friendly too! Lots of parking available. I will be coming back.

GREAT FOOD ! Came across this place on our trip up north to watch the Anaheim angels vs Padres game and we're so lucky we found it . I ordered a strawberry margarita and aguachiles . The Rita was strong ( but not nasty strong ) yet well blended ( just the way I like it ) . Aguachiles were spicy but still eatable how they should be in my opinion . Only thing I didn't like about them they were cooked and cured in limon and they were not butterflyed. But still 4/5 my boyfriend had a few drinks ( michelada , Pacifico and cantarito) they were all spot on . He also ordered a caldo which was so good . * note : michelada had no ice BUT that's an easy fix ( ask for Ice As starter your given chips and salsas ( guacamole salsa and spicy house salsa BOTH delicious 5/5)

You really get a lot for the price, and the shrimp were HUGE. The sauce was packed with flavor -- the perfect balance of spice, butter, and seasoning. Simple, messy, and absolutely delicious. Service was also great. There was only one server working, but he stayed on top of everything and made sure everyone was taken care of. The place itself is a little small, but it actually made the experience feel more cozy, and we got seated right away since it wasn't too busy. Definitely feels like a hidden gem and one of those spots you almost don't want too many people finding out about. Will definitely be back.

With the amount of garlic they put in the sauce it's so well balanced that I couldn't even tell garlic was in there! We got the omg level spicy & it hits you in the back vs the front. Doesn't linger too long & gets you coming back for more. I love that the food came in a party tray and not in a bag. Instead of egg noodle for garlic noodles they used linguine. Soooooooo goood! Felt way less heavier. Overall, the food was delicious, flavorful, not too oily. 10/10 The girl who took our order was super sweet! The place is small and super clean. & I love that they were playing Spanish music! So happy we decided to try this place!

We stopped by here on my birthday for a nice evening dinner. Got there a little before sunset. There's just something magical about eating outside during a sunset, especially at the Orange Plaza. The restaurant has such a cool look and vibe! We started off with the Hamachi crudo, salmon ceviche, and a bowl of clam "chowdah". The crudo was absolutely delicious, highly recommend. The salmon ceviche was really good but a bit heavy on the sauce for me. The clam chowder had whole clams in the shell throughout. That was fun to pick them out! For entrees we got the lean and mean plate with sea bass. It comes with salad and rice, we substituted the rice for black beans. We also got the skirt steak "bulgogi" which was served on top of mushrooms and bok choy with a sweet soy sauce. They accidentally brought out salmon instead of sea bass, but were very apologetic. They brought out a sea bass on the side and comped the entree to make up for it. Great service right there! The salmon and seabass were both delicious and cooked perfectly. The steak was tender and juicy, full of flavor. As a birthday gift they brought out a thai milk tea blondie sundae which was soooo good! Get it if you like sweets. I wish the owners all the best in their future endeavors, they created a great restaurant that many will miss. Thanks to all the servers, hostesses, cooks, and bussers as well for making my birthday dinner so special!

They said we could chill at the bar and use the waitlist for a table (~45 min) and we said sure, that sounds nice, we're not in a rush, and I wanted seafood. There was the option of eating at the bar too, but when I checked OpenTable ~15 min after ordering drinks, it said we were second in line and I didn't want them to have to transfer our order from bar to table so we waited... and waited........ and waited. And waited for almost 2 hrs while multiple tables in the restaurant sat empty basically since the time we sat down at the bar. I didn't ask the hostesses earlier cause I figured maybe they're for a reservation soon but NOPE, never got filled the entire time we waited. Finally when it seemed like the hostesses were becoming bored standing there and the restaurant was emptying out, and I overheard our bartender say the dinner rush is starting soon, I went to go ask if our table was ready. At this point, OT had shown first in line out of 2 total parties for at least 30 min. I kind of expected the hostess to be like, yeah table will be ready in 10 min, sorry for the delay. Instead she looks, and immediately goes, "we're setting it up right now :)", which tells me you guys forgot LOL. We were brought to the back area of the restaurant where legitimately, most of the tables were empty. Why bother with the OpenTable waitlist if you're going to completely disregard it? If you get added to the waitlist, be more proactive than me with inquiring about your table since the waitlist clearly doesn't mean much. Only saving grace was the food was mostly delicious, maybe because I was starving after the 2 hour wait (it was like 3:45pm by this point), and both bartenders were really nice. Spot prawns were amazing, halibut was amazing, bread was good, raw bar pretty fresh (the room temp uni was really weird), clams were good, skip the halibut cheeks, and most important of all, make a reservation.
