Amazing HH daily from 4pm-7pm. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We came on taco Tuesday night so it was quite busy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] $6 Margaritas (watermelon was my favorite choice, sweet and a bit of a kick) Key lime pie was an interesting choice. Guava habanero 4/5, a bit on the sour side for me. Combo $20 tacos comes with 3 tacos, choice of beans and rice. I ordered the crispy fish taco 5/5, steak taco 4/5, brisket taco 4/5. Dessert: coconut tres leches INCREDIBLE 5/5, Nutella flan 5/5. Service was incredible as we waited for a table for a party of 8. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambiance: Beautiful space, clean bathrooms, plenty of parking/street parking you can pay on the app.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I will definitely come back to try their other happy hour menus!

Food: BEST MEXICAN FOOD EVER!! Their fajitas were AMAZING, and their desserts were both 11/10. Service: Food was so fast. Ambiance: [[HIGHLIGHT]]BUSY inside but nice outdoor seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Bathroom could've been a bit cleaner as there were paper towels on the floor.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

El Camino serves complimentary hot sauce at every table which is a great companion to your meal. We tried a little of everything and here is what we loved: -The guacamole is delicious! And worth every penny -the corn was flavorful and so tasty! We would eat it again and again! -the brisket was cooked really well. I had the brisket nachos and was not prepare the mountain of nachos on my plate! Wear your stretchy pants if you order these! What was just ok -the tacos; although they have an assortment of options you can choose from they were just ok. -the chips, not my favorite [[HIGHLIGHT]]Overall we loved the service, the decor, and the location.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]We sat outside and got to partake in all the people watching while getting a little sun[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]].

The amazing men of my life asked me where I'd like to go for Mother's Day. Man, what a loaded question that was. So I turned to Yelp for help because I was in the mood for something fun and lively. El Camino landed on my short list thanks to the reviews for its atmosphere and big, filling dishes. We arrived around 6 p.m. and were seated almost immediately. Our server recommended I try the Watermelon Margarita. It was good, admitting it wasn't mind-blowing but definitely a refreshing choice and can see why it's a favorite here. Now on to the main event. We started with their Smoked Brisket Loaded Nachos. She warned us they were stacked, and visually I can admit they absolutely were. That said, they could've added more brisket as it was hiding in the middle, and the cheese wasn't as warm as I'd hoped. It didn't give that "right out of the kitchen" vibe since it had already hardened a bit. The brisket that was there, though, was flavorful. I was in the mood for tacos, so I went with a mix of fish, pork belly, and sofrito, served with refried beans and rice. We also ordered the steak quesadilla and the shrimp and steak fajitas. We dab a lot from each others food, yes we're that kind of family, so when I say ''we it's because we all get to taste and share each others dishes. The portions here are pretty solid, I'd even go as far as suggesting sharing if you're not trying to leave completely stuffed. My very hungry son couldn't even finish his quesadilla, and I barely made it through my tacos, leaving the rice and beans untouched. The standout dish of the night though was definitely hubby's shrimp and steak fajitas. They made their way sizzling to the table, and were easily our favorite order for taste and flavor. [[HIGHLIGHT]]All in all a lively evening for this awesome mom.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Had a great time at a birthday party there. The service was exceptional for how large the party was and drinks and food came out quickly. I had the carnitas taco. It was a little spicy but very tasty. Next time I'll ask without the extra hot they add.

We walked Las Olas Boulevard end to end twice, and this was the one restaurant that really stood out in terms of vibe and live music. There was about a 50-minute wait though. Keep in mind, the restaurant itself is huge -- easily seating 200+ people, so that tells you how popular it is. The place was very lively with a young crowd and great energy, but yes, it does get quite noisy, so it may not be ideal if you prefer a quieter dining environment. After the wait, we got a table outside. Service was quick, and since we were starving, we went with our favorites: * Chicken Fajita * Fish Tacos * Drinks The chicken fajita was excellent. They didn't mix the chicken with vegetables like some places do. Instead, they served nice breast pieces on a sizzling skillet, along with the usual sides -- salsa, sour cream, cheese, tortillas, and guacamole. Making tacos from that combination was absolutely delicious. The fish tacos were equally good. Considering the Las Olas area, the prices were very reasonable too. Overall, Great place for a lively night on Las Olas. Good food, fun vibe, but be ready for a wait and some noise. Overall: 4.5/5

I visited for the first time. It's a spacious open location. It gets pretty loud. We didn't have a reservation but only waited about 20 minutes to be seated. We started with the Classic Margarita with a shot of Grand Marnier on the side. We started with Guacamole, Chips and Salsa. I really enjoyed their salsa. It was flavorful and fresh. For dinner we tried the Carne Asada and Shrimp Tacos. They are served with rice and beans. They were good but in my opinion more Texmex style than authentic Mexican. Still very tasty. Our waitress, Cecilia, was great. She was very attentive, polite and all of her recommendations were delicious. I would like to return to try other dishes.

This is my go-to spot for happy hour when I'm craving some of the best Mexican food and margaritas. It's always a great time with family and friends, and the vibe is fun and lively. Just a heads up--it does get very busy, so I definitely recommend making a reservation. Also, happy hour is only at the bar, which fills up quickly, so get there early if you want a seat. Always a solid choice!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Great location right on Las Olas![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our food, drinks and service were great and [[HIGHLIGHT]]we loved that while we were seated indoors, the doors to the outside were open so it felt like we were outdoors.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

El Camino is right on Las Olas strip and is almost always busy! There is parking on the street if you're lucky but there are a few lots all along the back of the buildings. I used to love the food here but on this last visit I feel that the quality has gone down. We ordered some tacos with chips and salsa to share and a Long Island iced tea. The vibe here is always buzzing. There is loud music, the servers are friendly and the atmosphere of the restaurant overall is very casual but also fun and vibrant. If you're looking for a decent spot on Las Olas to have drinks and enjoy with a small or large group, this place is a good option. However if you're looking for the best tacos in town, this might not be the place for you.

Was able to grab a table to avoid the rain. Ordered some chips and guacamole, which was okay. We also ordered this octopus dish was amazing! It had such a tender texture and Smokey flavor. We shared it between two people and we both agreed it was delicious. This place had really nice servers, very busy, so some of our drink orders were delayed.

Super busy place in Las Olas with indoor & outdoor seating but we got in right away for a table of 6. Our waiter came quickly for drinks & we ordered guacamole & smoked brisket nachos. The guacamole was really good with their salsa. The smoked brisket was hidden 1/2 way under the nacho plate & there wasn't much of it. That was disappointing. Their classic margarita was really flavorful & light not heavy.

A (very) simple avocado salad with shrimp. This, a marg, plus tip came out to $44.

Is the happy hour ONLY in the bar area? What time is a good time to get there on a Thursday to actually get a seat in the bar? Thanks

So it is the bar area for Happy Hour Monday-Sunday 4-7pm. There are a certain section of tables that do Happy Hour at the booths Monday-Friday but only until 6 instead of 7pm. If you get there between 4-430, you should be able to get a seat or two…

Are the beans cooked with meat?

I do not think so. It tasted very commercial to me when I was there this past february. I come from a place where there are lots of Mexican restaurants and lots of taco trucks. This place does not compare.

Are there TVS for sport games outside?

    Yes they have them!

    Can we come with children?

    Yes, you can.

Do you have to make a reservation?

    No

Any reviews or thoughts or the pork belly tacos?

With out a doubt my favorite. They load the taco with the pork belly and it tastes fantastic. Go on taco Tuesday and get a huge discount on all the tacos.

    Do they sing happy birthday?

I have not heard them sing happy birthday.

How's taco Tuesday night? Also do you have a DJ to ehance the Tuesday night?

Amazing and extremely busy. A reservation through opentable or the store is highly recommended.

Can you bring a cute small dog? Do you have outside seating?

Amy, Yes we have outside seating & you can bring your small cute dog as long as it's on the ground…

Are there any vegetarian options/dishes besides salad?

Our Veggie Taco is completely vegan, we have a mushroom quesadilla. We have veggie fajitas, burritos and enchiladas all available vegetarian.

Do you have taco Tuesday specials?

Yes we do! $2 tacos all day.

Sidecar Speakeasy was the play... The speakeasy entrance was hidden in a hallway you can walk right by without even noticing. I dig it. Once inside, it's dark. Most of the light is coming from the light showcasing the bottles in the bar. The seating is a little tight as they're trying to maximize space for such a small area. We visited here twice during my visit: We sat at a table and a bar. You have the perfect amount of space for your party, but you're pretty close to the next table or bar seat. No claustrophobic vibes though. All the mixologists were great during both visits. One visit, we ordered their signature cocktails from the menu. When we sat at the bar, we had the mixologist surprise with a cocktail off the menu. He just asked what kind of liquor vibe we wanted, and he took it from there. He was super creative with every cocktail which made for a great time. They stayed upon until midnight one one visit and until 1 am on the other one. Both my visits were on a weekday. Parking was conveniently located right in front of the restaurant, making it an easy stop. As soon as we walked in, we were warmly greeted and invited to sit wherever we liked. We chose a table near the window and immediately appreciated the intimate and charming atmosphere. The restaurant also features a bar and televisions, creating a relaxed and welcoming vibe. Our waitress was pleasant, attentive, and made us feel right at home, which always enhances the dining experience. Although we weren't extremely hungry, the menu had so many appealing options that we decided to sample a few items. We started with the Caribbean Tea shots, which were unique, refreshing, and surprisingly enjoyable. For drinks, we ordered a Malbec and a Peanut Butter Old Fashioned. Our first entrée was the Churrasco Frites, featuring marinated skirt steak topped with chimichurri and served with twister fries. The steak was cooked perfectly, tender and flavorful, but those fries were the true star of the dish. Still wanting more, we ordered the Garlic Parmesan Twice Cooked Wings. They were nicely prepared and satisfying, though I would have enjoyed a stronger garlic flavor. Not quite finished, we moved on to the Oaxaca Burger, an 8 ounce burger stacked with onion rings, bacon jam, house BBQ sauce, and Oaxaca cheese. This was one of the best burgers I've ever had, and possibly the best. The bun was toasted yet soft, the burger was seasoned perfectly, and it was cooked to a juicy medium temperature. Every bite was packed with flavor. Overall, everything we ordered was excellent, and the service and atmosphere made the experience even better. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and look forward to returning.
