We checked with the hostess and lucked out with one available spot and was very friendly. Service was phenomenal - I think we had a total of 5 waitstaff at some point to the table. We asked for a recommendation from the hostess for both food and wine and both recommendations were excellent. Atmosphere was very inviting. Able to sit outside and enjoy the outdoors and not feel like we were sitting on the street with hundreds of people walking by. Prices were very reasonable, especially the wine. I thought the price was per glass but was for the bottle! Highly recommend giving them a try.

So maybe I'm an advanced beginner. And what I got wasn't that good, and it wasn't paella. It was more like rice with some mediocre sauce and seafood in a shallow dish. I love rice, so it wasn't a total loss, but I wouldn't recommend it. On the other hand the cockles were buttery and good, and the place very authentic, the kind of place that gets a lot of locals visiting. But you can do better.
