The owner came around and just let us taste a few wines before we settled for a bottle and basically told us that food would just arrive and we should just let him know when we are full. As a result I have no idea what's on their menu :-) but whatever arrived was good and made well. The flavours were pretty good and I enjoyed all of it. I just wish the Patatas bravas came with the rich tomato sauce as, this one did not and it was a bit dry. The rest was great. Food arrived quickly and we were seated in the cellar which was very nice and beautiful. It's a gorgeous old building and cozy and warm restaurant. The service was excellent and they were super friendly and let us hang around for ages after the place was closed. Would happily come here again anytime. It was great food with great service and nice tapas.

The garden looks absolutely amazing though we enjoyed our stay inside as it was pretty cold already. Service was impeccable with the friendly owner and another waiter checking in regularly. We were offered to taste a wide selection of wines prior to ordering our food and the selection was both original and interesting with a wide variety of styles and types. We ordered the "Tapas Platte" for four which was served within 10 minutes or so, with cold starters including different meats and hams, fine cheese as well as green and black olives, fine bread with dip and freshly cut greens. After finishing the cold tapas we were served the hot tapas, all in their own little bowls and most of them coming with their own appropriate sauces and dips. Every single selection of tapas tasted amazing, fresh out of the oven. Full flavored, beautiful textures, cooked perfectly to the spot and all fresh ingredients. Bread was refilled promptly and we were cared for by the staff exceptionally well. One can feel the love and dedication the owners put into all aspects of this restaurant and I feel lucky to have found this true gem, especially considering that Linz is a bit of a tourist trap. Highly recommended and worth a stop if you're passing through. We will definitely be coming back regularly.

We reviewed the menus that were on our table. Shortly, a server came by and we ordered a 4 + 4 tapas meal. It comes with 4 cold dishes and 4 hot dishes. About 10 minutes later, the cold tapas came out. It had Feta Cheese, some sort of Flaked Fish dish, Green Olives and Marinated Artichokes. I enjoyed all 4 of the cold tapas. My wife isn't a fan of olives or artichokes, so I ate all of those. The hot tapas came out about 20 minutes after the cold. It had 2 Chicken Wing parts (1 full wing), Bacon Wrapped Fig, Fried Potatoes and one other dish that I'm unsure of. It was sort of like a Potato cake maybe. We both enjoyed 3 of the 4 hot tapas dishes. The yellow cake thing, while not offensive, was rather flavorless. Happy we tried out Arkade Tapas. The service was good, the price was right and the food was decent.

So we walked away and tried to find something else to eat, but was not really interested in anything else. So we walked back and this time, the owner, was there and he sat us. This place really needs to hire another person because they would have lost a customer if we didn't walk back. We ordered the Fried Squid, Dates Wrapped Bacon, Jamon Pata Negra, Picked Artichokes & Paella. With a sangria and coke, the total came out to about 57 euros. We were too full to finish everything as his servings are a little generous than a normal tapas place would be. I thought the food was just ok. Nothing about this place would make me want to come back. The paella was not good at all. The Jamon pata negra was dry and does not look anything like the pictures on Yelp. There are some good items, but overall, I thought the food was just ok.
