I was just wondering how wonderful the food was at this venue since I moved back from Texas. I'm so glad to report that it is AMAZING! Authentic tastes, textures, and friendliness! I was so impressed but the variety and quality of the food. We have had a lot of exposure to good quality Mexican cuisine and we have friends who have shared their homemade dishes with us. It was refreshing to have these menu options like sopes, elote, tacos, breakfast dishes, etc. The venue also has many drink options like horchata, juices, etc. and there's a full bakery with racks of pastries. Desserts as well like flan, strawberry with cream, etc... my yummy soft tortilla that came with the soup was so delicious and indulgent that it already tasted like I was eating dessert ! I look forward to eating more of these favorite foods! But now, I am going to enjoy my full belly and very happy taste buds :)

Ownership changed but the food is still great! The karaoke that started before 9pm was obnoxious & way too loud for the 9 ppl and 4 staff that were here.

Would not recommend, the portions were small for what you pay for Ceviche was $12 for what tasted like a can of vegetables with two shrimp thrown in nachos lacked feeling was mostly chips and burnt cheese it tasted like it was made in a microwave this meal was over $32

very good food, kind service. the lights on the outside are very attracting once you go inside the tables throw you off a bit, looks outdated, kinda throws you off. the wall decor is cute and aesthetic. other than that i'd continue ordering to go. definitely somewhere fun to go to if out late looking for a midnight drink. they close really late.

*Tip # 1 when dining at Latin Restaurents (Salvi-Mexican) you can prejudge the food based on the complimentary chips and salsa* *Tip #2 if "gringos" are eating there than the food is good. I came here with my mom for lunch on a Sunday as a change from taking her to "Tampico Grill". We were greeted by a friendly staff. The ambience had Ranchera music at a high decibal level without having to raise my voice for a conversation. Mostly men were sitting by them selves drinking but then couples and some "gringo" families stated to arrive. I was lucky this was NOT a "chupadero" where the girls wear skimpy outfits that make Hooters looks like nuns. The chips were decent but not fresh and the salsa was watered down. I was like "uh oh" I ordered the "Camarones Puerto Vallerta" and a "Salvavida" Honduran beer to wash it down. To my surprise the server stated that tortillas are extra for my plate. My mom ordered the Chicken/Steak fajita combo with handmade tortillas. **note to self do not order handmade tortillas for your fajitas, go with the flour. The handmade will crumble" The handmade tortillas went well with my dish. The fajitas came out sizzlling and my mom enjoyed as well them. We ordered Flan for dessert which was not sweet and tasted like it was manufactured. I would recommend this place for a business lunch or a few drinks.

    Burrito with no meat....
    Lauren E C.

Before the pandemic this place was awesome. Afterwards was a different story, I understand getting back on your feet; but this is false advertisement. First of all we ordered a beef and a chicken burrito what we got was another story. The beef burrito had a couple slices sliced beef instead of a healthy portion of shredded beef with diced potatoes added in for filler. The chicken had small diced cubed chicken breast and potatoes added for filler...on the menu it says nothing about a meat and potato burrito. It states strictly meat. For 10$ I believe you should have honored what your menu states. We spent over 20$ for flour tortillas and beans and rice. The seasoning is tride and true no complaints about the taste just lack of ingredients. Very misleading. Very disappointed and formally loyal customer.

We arrived around 10p on a Saturday night during football preseason and 100000%, you can kiss the expectation of having a seat or table available to you, right away. Luckily for me and my party, we were around long enough that someo other table left and then, we were able to have our own space. Before that, I was literally bouncing in between the 1-tv that showed the football game that I was interested in and the corner of the pool table, where the entertainment/karaoke side is. On to the drinks, they were good! The bartender was a blessing to the evening. The food, we were not able to get as the kitchen was opened during the later hours - our party just didn't get our desired table space til later in the night when we were almost ready to go. Parking, I there are designated spots within the shopping center (of course occupied by other shops' parking), but I personally would park on the far opposing end of The Hideout & walk over with your crew. Overall, it was not a bad experience. I believe this was my first time coming & wouldn't mind coming again, indeed to try the food, but DEF. earlier in the evening.

The first floor was a little small, but cute with a black interior, photo op area, clean bathrooms, and an upstairs we didn't get to check out. We mixed between the main menu and the $5 after 5 list and got the meat pie, chicken skewers, spring rolls, beef bites and yam with fish stew dip. Every single dish was fantastic either crispy or tender respectively, savory, and seasoned to perfection! Highly recommend the chicken skewers and carrot cake (carrot cake not pictured as it was devoured on the spot). The only con of the night was waiting a long time for our food, but the servers themselves were amazing (shoutout to KB, our awesome waiter and mixologist), the food was worth the wait, and they definitely kept us entertained in the interim with karaoke night on a Tuesday. Melissa and the Dj warmed up the crown with banger after banger, and before long everyone joined in. It was an absolute blast to be a part of and we will definitely return! My favorites were the beef meat pies, salmon bites, lamb chops, and the fufu with egusi. Everything came out fresh, flavorful, and well-seasoned. I also appreciated that SkyVibe offers more than just Sip & Paint. They have karaoke nights, happy hour specials, and other events throughout the week, making it a place you can come back to for different experiences. If you're looking for good food, great vibes, and something fun to do in the DMV, I'd definitely recommend giving SkyVibe a try. I'll definitely be back!

The lounge is on the smaller side, which actually worked well for the event and gave it an intimate vibe. The owner was also very nice and welcoming, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, that's where the positives ended. The menu is extremely limited, and you pretty much have to piece together a meal from a few items. I ordered the jollof rice and six-piece chicken wings. The wings were overpriced, overcooked, and had no flavor at all. The only options were sauces on the side (honey, ranch, or blue cheese), and when I specifically asked for honey drizzled on top with blue cheese on the side, that request wasn't followed. Even more frustrating, our server never came back to check on us or make sure everything was okay. The jollof rice was honestly the worst part. Instead of that rich, smoky flavor you'd expect, it tasted burnt with a harsh charcoal aftertaste. I've had jollof rice many times before, and this was nowhere close. I ended up sending it back. Because I was hungry, I forced myself to eat the wings, even though they were dry and lacked flavor. Overall, Myste Lounge has a nice look and potential, but the food and service really need improvement. A revamped menu and better attention to guests would make a huge difference.

The grilled chicken was an extra cost, but the salads are fairly customizable. My friend asked for no mushrooms and no dressing and they were happy to accommodate.
