The food was your typical shitty Mexican food that meets your craving but is nothing super special. The service was deplorable, however. Thinking we did not speak Spanish, the waiter called my brother an extremely derogatory term while delivering food, similar to faggot in English. Then, we were one of the last patrons in the restaurant and were watching the final inning of a baseball game on tv and they came over and turned the tv off without saying anything to us. Needless to say, we will NOT be going back and I would also not recommend this place to anyone due to the rude staff. read more

Good service and very good food. The staff was very upbeat and friendly. Even on mother's day, we only had a short wait to get in, and our waiter was very attentive to our needs. I travel all across the country for work. This is my favorite Mexican restaurant. I stop here every time I come through West Plains. The Chicken Chipotle might be the tastiest dish I have ever had! The staff is always prompt, attentive, courteous, and friendly. They are even patient with us as we make attempts to practice our Spanish. I am a a big fan of El Charo. All of their food is delicious. They serve very good chips and salsa before the meal is served. Their Polo Loco and El Charo Fajitas are excellent.
