Baked goods

El Coqui Bakery makes the best Cuban sandwich in Deltona--fresh bread, generous layers of meat, and full of flavor. The Don Coqui is another standout, and the Coqui Fries come in a huge portion loaded with toppings, perfect for sharing. Empanadas and pastelitos are flavorful, and the sorullos make a good side as well. I've heard excellent things about their coffee and the Mallorca so that is next on the list to try. Every dessert I've had has been impressive, but the guava cheese quesito is a must--don't leave without it. It can get busy, and parking is limited, so come prepared for a bit of a wait. But it's absolutely worth it.

I loveeee El Coqui ! We ordered a group of things: mallorca bread, an entire loaf of toasted pan sobao with butter, avena, alcapurria, empanadas de pollo, sugar donuts, quesitos de queso, quesitos de guava, a steak sandwich, the bistrami sandwich, parcha juice. The Mallorca is perfectly sweet and fluffy and came warm in a box. The Bistrami sandwich also caught me by surprise as I hadn't had steak and pastrami in the same sandwich before. Overall, everything was delicious. There is limited seating inside and it can get crowded, especially on the weekends. Sometimes it's best to take the food to go. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

There's good coffee here, yet this is not a coffeehouse. There's also good food, yet not the best in town. It is a nice clean space with several tables, and they have a nice breakfast menu. It may be worth to try some of the scrambled eggs and the toasts. Also, lots of very friendly people work here, and many regulars walk in and out. More than a place to grab some food, this is a community hub. Still, good coffee...

I'm so glad I moved here to Deltona, Florida, AKA Deltona-Rico. And even more so that I discovered the Coqui Bakery. They are very friendly, amicable, always serve with a smile. Who ever is at the register always repeats your order to make sure you get what you want, how you want it. Their "Fuerte" coffee is guaranteed to keep you up all day! Really High-Octane! LOL. Pastries always fresh; it's a great spot for breakfast or lunch. Puerto Rican or not, you have to get there, and you will surely return. Thank you all for keeping Puerto Rico alive here in Deltona! There should be one of these in every City in Florida! But it will be hard to clone the staff here. God Bless you all and the people who patronize this wonderful place! See you soon! JCGJR... Food is good. However they rush you to take your order and are sometimes slightly rude.

Wow! Stumbled upon this gem in Deltona, FL. Puerto Rican owned and operated. True and authentic Puerto Rican recipes, flavors, and options. Upon entering, I saw the line and people dining in and new this place was going to be really good!! Entering I smelled all my childhood scents of a Puerto Rican household kitchen, the coffee, the fried empanadas, and the bread.. So good! Latin music playing, people smiling and conversations flowing. A wonderful atmosphere! Friendly staff! Awesome and fair prices. I ordered an Avena to start which was by far the best Avena / Oatmeal I have ever tried! So good I had to order two additional to take home. I also got a breakfast with eggs, bacon, and pan. Very delicious!! Cafe con leche was so good and strong! Woke me up fast!!! Everything was fresh and came out hot! You can definitely tell they make everything with latin love! Plenty of parking and extremely clean bathrooms. Plenty of seating inside their spacious dining area. Can't wait to go back to try their Churrasco Empanada.. Pro Tip: Pick up a bottle of Monte Adentro Pike Borikua behind the register... The best hot sauce that will go with any dish.

This bakery/cafe is so sophisticated and comfortable. It has so many amazing options for eats. I'm a new resident to Florida so I'm on the hunt for all the small businesses/ mom and pop shops especially when it comes to Coffee. I wish I would have gotten the woman's name who took my order she was so nice especially with all my questions about what the items were. I didn't get as many photos as I'd like but I will definitely be back. I had a Cafe con Leche with half the sugar (brown sugar) it was amazing and got me through my entire day. I also had the best churro I'd ever had in my life and I love me a churro. It was so fresh and perfectly soft, sweet, and crunchy. I also tried the potato ball with beef in it. It was called a Papas Rellenas I do believe. Y'all this food didn't even make it home with me. I ate everything right there in my car it was so good.

Sprinkle Cookie

As of May 2024 their sprinkle cookie is good its sweet but not too sweet for its price $1.00 I say its worth it.

This place deserves a good rating because service is tops and the food is pretty good. We ordered…read moreeggs and omelettes, and pancakes. We also ordered biscuits and gravy. I will say, this is not the best, but it is pretty good. The gravy had a special flavor, the biscuits were fluffy, and everything was cooked well. The pancakes were super fluffy but only accompanied with pancake syrup, which is a letdown for me because I prefer maple syrup or fruit syrup. The coffee was good, and this is important. There were several refills and that alone is a plus. Everything was plentiful and good. I may point out that the food took a little long to come out, but that's OK, I guess.

Was passing this place looking for a breakfast spot for the morning. I noticed they had lattes so I…read morewas like yes! It's a seat yourself restaurant with outdoor seating accommodations as well. There was a bit of confusion as we had multiple servers coming up for our order but it wasn't an issue. The vanilla latte was really good even though it's not necessarily a coffee spot. It was beautiful out this morning so it was comfortable. I got two eggs, hash browns with sausage. Typical breakfast meal; nothing over the top but decent. My husband got a breakfast wrap which honestly was better than mine. All in all for two breakfast and drinks was about forty bucks which isn't surprising. I am not sure if I would stop in again for breakfast but would be a good quiet spot to grab a coffee and study or read a book.
