This place had watches at a euro. In fact lots if stuff for 1 euro. To me it's a nick-nack store, put politely it's full of trinkets or bluntly crap. I don't think I've ever bought a nick or a nack in any of the stores I've been in but my wife gets a few bits. We did find one in Sintra Portugal that sold coffee and frozen yoghurt and I did try their coffee.

The store is beautifully laid out with items neatly folded for your perusal or hanging up on expensive hangers. The store has has dark wood desks where the tills are situated and staff are immaculately turned out. Clothing is quite conservative, usually with a little fashion twist, and while it isn't particularly cheap, it won't break the bank either. Sizes are a little on the small side, with a UK 16 being the largest they stock. I found the clothing I purchased here to be well made and beautifully presented. The quality here is definitely superior to that of Zara. Service was excellent - staff all spoke English fluently and were unobtrusive but helpful. I would definitely go back to this Massimo Dutti if in Benidorm again.

It had only one cow again as another Hop first the one in Valencia had three cows - one outside and two in an upstairs front facing window. My wife had an equally enthusiastic companion to shop with this time. Her companion had spied €10 colourful, snazzy sunglasses and they were polarised to boot. Sold. So as the ladies ambled among the tat, not buying for need, while the gents pondered lunch. Tempus Fugit

A friend and I stumbled into this souvenir shop near the Mercado Central in Alicante. There are…read morelots of souvenir shops in the city, but this one immediately differentiated itself through the quality and singularity of its products. I bought a lovely, reasonably priced drawing of the city by a local artist, while my friend found locally-made trinkets for her family. The owner was very friendly and went to great lengths to tell us about attractions that we could visit in Alicante, even finding a map to show us. He also gift-wrapped all of the items so that they were ready to give. When I looked up the store afterward, I found a Spanish-language article about the owner and his recent foray into the souvenir field after a career in entertainment. It seems to me as though his new enterprise is a success!
